After 3-5 tries I started to think about how a plate that could be glued to the underside of the countertop would have more surface area to grip than the small threaded insert and would be less likely to spin when tightening the screw. It took me over an hour to drill 4 small holes in the granite with the other clips, and that was before I even got started on the clips themselves. These clips arrived and it took me 15 minutes to epoxy them to the countertop. I let the epoxy cure for 36 hours (PC-7 says 24 hours but I wanted to be sure). When I checked today the clips were very secure and I could tighten the screws down nice and tight with no hint of the anchors spinning or moving. I wish I had purchased these when I got the sink. (Be sure to wear gloves, and also eye protection if you have to be directly underneath the area where you’re applying epoxy.) You’ll only have a minute or two before the epoxy starts to harden, so work quickly and it might be a good idea to mix and apply in small amounts so that no material is wasted. Give the epoxy 24-48 hours to completely cure, or harden with your clip screws in place.
