This is so well-designed. It wraps around the knee perfectly with Velcro fasteners. I use it for Shin Splints and some lower leg pain or strain/swelling. I am so happy to share this review as it is a class act and so very useful. Well done!

Excellent product..easy to use..very effective to reduce pain following knee replacement. Find it easier to place whole product in freezer as very difficult to put frozen blocks back into casing when solid from freezer..especially one for under the knee.

I had knee replacement surgery 4 days ago & one of the things that really helped in hospital was being hooked up to the cryo-compression machine. Would have loved to have rented it once I was discharged, but the cost was too high. Searching on Amazon revealed this product and I have to say it's the best £25 I've ever spent! I have previously bought ice wraps which consist of just one icepack and the wrap, usually costing around £10. The fact that this product comes with 3 icepacks is great value, and that's before you take into account that these icepacks are thicker & therefore stay colder for longer. In addition, the placement of one of the packs around the back of the knee means this is great for me after doing my post operative exercises. I didn't have little knees in the first place, and my operated knee is swollen, but the wrap still fits around it comfortably. I took the advice of another reviewer and just put the entire wrap in the freezer, rather than taking the icepacks out, so can't comment on the ease of getting the packs in and out.In short, I am so pleased I bought this, it's really going to help with my recovery 😊

I am using this mostly with hot packs. The inserts look quite sturdy and I have no issue heating them up in the microwave. I love the fact that I can fit three hot packs in the knee wrap allowing to warm op the knee all around. It is well made, fits well on my (rather big) knee and stays in place very well. Really happy with the purchase.UpdateThe heat packs seem quite sensitive to heating in the microwave. Although I take them out of the brace and lay them flat in the microwave 2 got damaged already. So best to heat them in boiled water to avoid any damage. Also note the size of the heat pack seems not very standard. So most alternatives seem too large to fit in this brace. Will order some spares and avoid the microwave in the future.

I was sceptical at first as I have large legs and I was not convinced that the cold would help with my knee pain.I have fluid buildup around my knee which has resulted in me using a cain to walk due to the pain. My wife brought the brace to see if it would help. I use a compression sock over the know and then the brace otherwise it is too cold. I can say that I am able to use the leg much more and the pain is less but I still need to use the brace 4 times a day.The brace is well constucted and soft. My ownly issue is that the ice pack behind the knee is a little difficult to take in and out. I would recommend for others to use.

This is a truly fantastic ice pack for knee injuries. I first bought this when I fell skiing. Was originally told I had a bad contusion of my knee- (turned out i’d actually completely torn my ACL and had partial tear on my MCL but didn’t find out til 9 months after injury.) So I bought this at the time of the injury a truly it helped me get through the acute phase of the injury. Then when I finally had the reconstruction surgery I had this ice pack and a spare set of ice packs ready and waiting. Meant I could use it and then swap to the 2nd set if I needed it longer. But it meant I could use it to go to sleep and have another ready to use after morning physio and throughout the day.The design of having 3 seperate ice packs 2 to cover the front and sides of knee and the 3rd to comfortably hug the back of you knee, isFantastic. I loved this ice pack so much. I even sent one to a family member who had the same injury and again they were blown away that you could wrap the whole knee up in its icey coolness! Truly such a relief.I can not recommend this enough! Buy a spare set of ice packs so you can swap them and always have a set of cool packs ready to use in the freezer.

Bought this and another pack by the same company, due to swelling and knee pain. I was given prescription painkiller for and was in a lot of pain despite that, and the swelling wouldn't go down with ice packs or good old frozen peas!So it was time to take drastic measures. I looked around for a compression ice pack, hoping the pressure would help alleviate and target the pain and swelling more effectively.This ice pack was amazing! I used as instructed, wrapping it firmly around the knee joint and kept my legs elevated for 20 minutes on, and freezing the packs for 1 to 2 hours, and repeating again through the day, whilst additionally applying pain relief gel to the inflamed areas.This honestly helped reduce the inflammation and swelling, and within a couple of days I was actually able to drive and move around much better again! 😀I will say though that this particular ice pack is much, much better than the other one, which is slightly cheaper, but doesn't have the third layer to wrap around.Therefore, I recommend using this pack if you have pain, swelling or recovering from injury, as it really helped me a lot.I'm still using them now, so hopefully by next week I will see even more improvement. Thank you to the people who made this product, it has helped so much!

The cover itself is great. Easily adjustable for different sizes with its Velcro fastenings and snug fit around the knee. The 3 ice packs provided fit in the pockets ok but need a bit of ‘wiggling’ to get them in properly. We have been using this since Sunday, when it arrived. Unfortunately, after only 4 days of use, there is a split in one of the ice packs, rendering it useless. It seems from other reviews that this is a common fault. I will be contacting the supplier and will update this review once I’ve had a reply.Update: Amazon customer services are the bees knees. A quick 15 minute chat and a full refund provided as they are unable to provide a replacement gel pack. Thanks Amazon.

I like the adjustability of the compress for my knee replacement surgery. I bought 2. I found it a little difficult to put the ice packs in, so I just kept the whole thing in the freezer and change it out with the second one. The ice pack on the back of the knee is very useful as well.

What I like the best about this ice pack is that there are 3 separate ice packs, all removable. I only needed ice surrounding my patella (knee cap) and I'm able to get that precisely with this pack. The material inside the pack isn't water - it's something that you can easily push around even when frozen, like a thick slushy material. I push it out of the way in each pack just before strapping it on to keep the ice of the center of my patella, which gets too cold too quickly. I also have to add a cloth or some paper towels underneath the pack to prevent it from freezing my skin. But that's easy enough and then I can leave it on for the 20 minutes my Ortho doc and PT both told me. If you're using this 3-4 hours apart, then it won't be as cold for the next time but still does pretty well. I was icing 4 times a day and it stayed cold enough to be effective. I kept it on the freezer when not icing, of course.
