DevaCurl DevaGloves, Anti-Frizz Microfiber Hair Drying Gloves

Straight out of the box the gloves were full of lint and pieces of the microfiber that flaked off. Ran fingers over the gloves and could feel the picking, yanking of the fibers, not what this product is supposed to do. It's supposed to be high quality microfiber that will not pick or draw on your hair causing frizziness. The DevaTowel (grey) is much smoother and better quality for this task.

I've been using these gloves for years now and I love them! However, for whatever reason this particular pair has holes between the ring finger and middle finger and between the middle finger and pointer after only one use. It's not an issue of fit because I've owned many pairs in the past and have never had a problem before. I hope the second pair I ordered holds up longer because I really do love these gloves.

These gloves are made of the same microfiber material as Devacurl's towel. I absolutely love the ability to have the same effect as the towel in the form of gloves. You can reach certain areas of the hair that you couldn't with the towel! I let my curls air dry for about 10 minutes before using these gloves, apply the coconut super cream, and diffuse. End result is beautiful, bouncy curls!

I thought the gloves were a great idea since I'm always scrunching my curls. However, they leave small white fuzz balls in my hair and on my hands. It's not a big deal and I can easily remove them. It is just as easy to scrunch hair with a microfiber towel or t shirt. Overall good product.

OK... so I have been using the Deva Curl system for 6 months... and was going on vacation. I didn't want to bring my expensive full-sized microfiber towel because I was only taking one carry-on suitcase AND I was afraid of losing it if it was accidentally picked up by housekeeping!Thus - I decided to try the gloves.OHMYGOSH! I LOVE THEM!! No maneuvering the towel. They do the job quickly and naturally!They have a little loop on them so I can hang them to dry. I wash them once a week.Downside... I have shoulder length hair and they saturate quickly. Sometimes I take them off and put them on the other hand to use 'both sides' to get my hair dry quickly. They also take awhile to to dry. If you need them more than once a day, they may not be dry when you need them. I did have this happen once on my vacation. I usually do not wash my hair twice a day but we had been swimming and I had to get the chlorine out. Since this is not 'typical', I don't see this as an ongoing problem.I like them enough that I will be ordering a second pair for the rare 'extra washes' and to have one hanging - and one pair in the closet to ensure I always have a clean dry pair on wash days.LOVE THESE! LOVE THESE! Did I mention I absolutely LOVE these??????

I love the gloves. They look ridiculous and may seem unnecessary, but i find them so much easier to use then the deva towel and more absorbent. i hang them right outside the shower and find it easier to scrunch and get the excess water out of my hair right away. They were definitely worth the price for me.

They work great, for the most part. They are pretty big on my hands, so sometimes I feel like my hair gets frizzy from using these, where as they are suppose to prevent frizz.

This is one of those foo-foo things that you don't really need but why not. You can use a microfiber towel, but these gloves take scrunching to a whole new level. They are well made and feel nice, my hair likes them.

It takes close to 8 hours for my loose, coarse, highly porous curls to dry. These gloves shave hours off my total dry time. Big fan!
