Cheap looking and broken quickly

Got this for a friend who loves mermaids and she and the kids love it.

Bought this light for my granddaughter. She loves mermaids. The changing colors are beautiful!!She really loved the night light and leaves it on while she sleeps.

I really wasn't sure what to expect, but it's etched plexiglass and my daughter really loves it. To her it doesn't feel like a night light, but a decoration. The remote has added an extra cool factor. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it eats batteries, even while plugged in.

I opened box but did not try it. Opened because the outside of box had no pictures or anything to look at, wanted to make sure it was actually a night light

My daughter loves using this as a nightlight for her room. Overall it works well. If you use it as battery powered then the batteries drain pretty quickly (this is the reason for the lower star rating); however, plugged in it seems to work great.
