Superb.....but
great, i7, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd. perfect for out of office use. One thing to watch out for the hd comes with Bitlocker turned on so many programs will not work with it, go to Control Panel and turn off Bitlocker and its perfect.I always install ClassicShellSetup on my windows 10 machines which gets rid of those horrible tiles and puts the interface back to win 7 without losing any windows 10 bits. Try it, you can always uninstall and its free...yes really free!Last but not least you do not get a licence with the home edition supplied, you have to buy one... I upgraded to win 10 pro.....cost £119 from microsoft.

Great...
I bought it at Curry's PC WorldI paid full retail price (well over a grand in my specification)16gb rami7MX2501tb m.2it is brutal quick, i havent had to wait longer than 2.3 seconds for it to do anything (even booting up from complete shut down) (it times its self im not that sad) it has completely replaced my desktop and i have even played games on it.The battery is by far the best i have ever experienced it at most does a 14hr day and it has been on solidly since about 8am this morning and it is 9pm the same day with about a dozen chrome tabs photoshop and spotify running constantly and a few hour bursts of video streaming and CAD and it is on 53% at the time of typing this review, talking of which the keyboard is nice, quite nice.it fits in my bag comfortably and has proved tough, howeverand its a big however, it arrived with a dead pixel, and that would be fine if it was off or at the edge of the screen but it is in the middle and pinned at full brightness and is visible almost all the time, however HP say i need two with in 15mm to qualify for a warranty job and on a laptop that costs more than my car, that is appalling hence the 4 stars but it is so good i couldn't bring myself to bring it right down considering the quality and usability

Terrible trackpad
The trackpad is rather small, even for a 13", it feels like it is made of a cheap plastic and after a week my trackpad just stopped clicking. Other than that the laptop is great, just HP's quality standards are not, i never should have received such a defective model.

Good performance for the price - some persistent issues
Good laptop for the price, very decent performance, however, it is plagued by some quality issues. The main reason I returned it was the loose touchpad, which would "rattle" around in the bottom part when one puts a finger on top of it, making it very annoying if one uses the touchpad on a regular basis. This, combined with the not so great battery life, made it hard to justify keeping the laptop.Other than that, the screen was okay, with good touch capability, and also the fairly good spec made the laptop handle daily tasks easily.

Comes with 1TB SSD with premium quality
This is actually comes with 1TB SSD, which was a nice surprise. it works really smooth, and has a good build quality and feels premium.the fan can sometimes become noisy under heavy performance.

Windows 10 Laptop
I love this machine. I have been able to mirror all that I have on my PC at home enabling me to travel and keep up to date on the move. 16gb memory is ahead of the game and with the added plus of 1tb of SSD (not 500gb as advertised) this machine rocks. Great price at just over £1,000 pounds.

Camera defective
I just received this item and was really happy with how it functioned for my needs . Loved the keyboard, loved its neat size, it seemed very responsive. I really like the fact that it had 2 usb ports (the regular ones) and it also had a hdmi adapter which can be very useful. It was lacking an external cd drive (call me old fashioned - but i still use) Unfortunately there was an issue with the camera , it had a vertical line running through it . I don't know if this is an issue across the board , I think am willing to try the same model again in the hope that it was just a defective product. It was pretty disappointing issue to uncover in my new laptop however I would definitely give this product a higher review if the new product is functioning properly.
