Samsung S27A750D 27-Inch Class 3D LED Monitor - Black

After I received the item, I found out that two monitors were both seriously damaged!!! For one of them, the top edge of the monitor does not even fit in the rectangle structure of the screen! I could see there were four finger-grabbed damages made by someone who grabbed the upper edge of the monitor on the plastic screen cover. The worst thing about this monitor is that there are two dead pixel STREAMS originated from upper-right edge of the monitor driectely down to bottom edge, accrosing the whole screen when I turnned it on! After I saw that, I felt very disaapointed and angry. Then, I wanted to check another monitor that I ordered and hoped not to be the same. I found there were also 4 finger-grabbed damages on the plastic of the screen cover! but the upper edge is a little bit better than the previous one. This one just have a very loose upper edge of the screen because of the rude grab when putting the monitor into the box. I don't think this is carrier's problem. It is so obvious that the item was horribly treated by someone who used his four fingers to grab the upper edge of the screen and dropped the monitor into the box!This is the first time that I received such damaged and defective items described as brand new in my on-line shopping experience ever! If you need to have a better interpretation, I would love to send you the pictures that I took for their defective items. Right now I am in a long and complicated return process.Pros: the resolution quality of the monitor is excellent in the area that is not damaged. Very good monitor, but choose a reliable seller before your purchase!

if you had nvdia don't get this one, this is design for ati user. this monitor is glossy screen, is heavy glossy, great for movie and games, but terrible for text and picture edit. not sure is the ati fault or the monitor, too much ghosting issue from many 3d games. the build in 3d doesn't work that well. 3d is stil too early stage, also anothe rproblem is the resolution 1080p in 27" is too stretch, big issue in bios. text appear too big. you can't worst is bad for a tn panel consider weak view angle in the top, bottom, and side. this monitor stand can't be remove. mean it can't wall mount. 2d is great for gaming, but 120hz is a bit overkill unless you had crossfire or top of the line at card, so far ati is not support crossfire for 3d yet, they still lack behind nvdia in many 3d area, i play the same game sc2, the nvdia is much brighter and more smooth easier to the eye in 3d than this monitor with ati card. some game doesn't do 3d like might and magic vi even though they claim they can. the software is very bugging, there's no direct 3d software from ati, is all comes from third party which is the main problem, they don't update that often.

2D wise, I love this monitor and have no complaints. This monitor is thin and very sleek. The picture quality is awesome and makes gaming a lot more fun. I even got a "wow" from the wife.I saw a review complaining about the picture quality. Out of the box the picture isn't perfect. It looked too blue to me.I found a good review of this monitor and also has what I believe are perfect settings for this monitor.[...]With these settings I am very happy with the picture quality of this monitor.3D Wise, the monitor does an ok job doing a 2D-3D conversion. TriDef software is a must to get the full potential of 3D viewing and my biggest complaint about this monitor.I am using 6870s in XFire and just recently 3D was supported in XFire config.Also Tridef tends to not have profiles available when a new game is released. You typically need to wait for them to update their software to support the newest games. On top of this Tridef tends to drop frame rates by 50%. I am still getting acceptable frame rates for the games out now but in the future, frame rates might be an issue unless I upgrade my hardware or Tridef finds a more efficient way of running their software.The screen is glossy and can have some glare. This isn't a big issue except for 3D. If a glare is present when trying to use 3D it tends to mess with the 3D effect.Also be aware the picture settings in 2D mode don't carry over to 3D mode so you will need to set them again. I used the same settings as 2D but increased the brightness due to the 3D glasses tint.Overall I am very happy with the monitor other than the items I mentioned. I would purchase this monitor again.
