This is so fun and cute. The pieces are true to size. The materials seem sturdy and quality. No assembly required. I just keep an eye on my little one when she’s playing with this (or anything) because she still wants to put everything in her mouth, but this kept her attention for a while.

My Littlest first played with this set after having her appendix removed at the hospital. She absolutely LOVED it. Santa brought her this set for Christmas and we've had a sushi date at least once a week ever since!It's very cute, well made, and easy to play with. The storage box is really handy for keeping the pieces together.10/10 recommend for any kid with an imagination and a love of food.

Our son who is less than 2 years old loves to play with this toy. He especially likes cutting the sushi with the knife. The velcro is just strong enough to hold, but easy enough for him to cut. It is fun to make little sushi rolls while we make sushi for dinner as a family. Thought it was a decent price for a well made toy. It seems to hold up okay so far, although the knife has had a bit of chipped edges and paint coming off where it has been hit against other pieces of wood. Overall great buy though.

Good quality (as expected with M&D) and kids LOVE it- even the ones that don’t love actual sushi. Knife and cutting action is great and so cute. Highly recommend.

I got this for my daughter’s fifth birthday, and she plays with it all the time. It is so cute how realistic this set is. The chopsticks have Velcro on the end so you can truly reenact eating sushi. It also has little pieces of felt ginger, and also Wassabi! Such a cute set an a great gift idea.
