Good for the money.
The Smartcast is super glitchy and the sound gets out of sync. A restart usually helps. Good for the money but there are better TVs out there.

Is this thing refurbished? Never works!
The remote never works, there’s imperfections in the screen, sound sucks, I want to return but I don’t even remember buying it! It just showed up one day!

Get a different brand
Purchased from Vizio, not Amazon. Like the price and quality of the picture. Disliked all the malfunctions. Have had it for 2 years and sometimes the TV turns on and displays smart cast homepage, sometimes it turns on and the picture is black. We have to turn it on and off x amount of times before it MIGHT work, rebooting it doesn’t work. Just have to wait to watch TV at a different time when it feels like working. Remote stopped working a year in and we have purchased 3 remotes since. Will never purchase another vizio TV. Buy a more reliable brand. Sometimes it’s worth the extra bucks to avoid malfunctions 2 years in.

It's not true 120hz
We purchased this tv on a whim from target. The TV said it was 120hz refresh rate. After taking the TV home and setting it up we watched a movie. Definitely not 120hz. I researched more into it and found that the tv and backlight were both 60hz and VIZIO decided that means it's 120hz. Other than that major misleading piece of advertising it's an ok tv for the money. I am currently waiting for the TV to break so I can replace it with one from a company that doesn't lie to their customers. Total loss of money from false advertizing. Also why does the HDR flicker VIZIO?

I Guess I Got Lucky
After reading the reviews on here, it seems like a lot of people felt like there was quite a bit to be desired. I bought this TV on Black Friday 2019 and still haven’t had any issues. Yeah, there are definitely better TVs out there, but honestly for the money this one’s hard to beat. It’s been a great bang for the buck.

It’s like working on a 30 year old computer.
I wish I could express how much I hate this TV and just how much I regret buying it. When it works, it’s okay. Just okay. But when they send updates, the TV doesn’t work and the effort it takes just to turn on the TV and watch something becomes a perpetual pain in the neck. The hardware is fine. But It’s a junk computer that, more often than, gets crap, untested updates that require rebooting and unplugging...until they update the updates. Every friggin’ time. So, when you want to relax and tune out for a while...it’s a great TV- if you don’t mind that none of the apps work about 30% of the time, unpredictably at that, and don’t mind having to reboot and wait for the computer to play catch-up for 15 minutes before you can watch TV. It’s like having to work on a computer that’s been running since the 1990s...yeah, it’ll work most of the time. But it’ll lag, frustrate you to no end and make you wonder if throwing it out the window might make you feel better.

Horrible screen glitches
The media could not be loaded. Terrible product and even worse customer service. Tv is 1 year and 3 months old and all Vizio can keep repeating to me is that I am over my 1 year warranty—-by 3 months

Failed in less than one week
Bought a 70 inch Vizio V series (705 G3) from Best Buy. The picture was mediocre, but that wasn't the worst part. In LESS THAN 1 week it failed. Suddenly the TV locked up and would not respond to inputs from the remote. Couldn't even turn it off. Could not switch inputs. Just total garbage. Best Buy was great, gave us a rebate and picked up the defective TV. We wound out buying a slightly smaller Sony Bravia for more money, but the TV works and the picture is great. This was deja vu because we bought a Vizio 5 or 6 years ago, and the screen had a dead spot when we turned it on. Wound out returning that one for a refund too. Bottom line: Avoid Vizio TVs as if they are the ebola virus, or the bubonic plague.
