It is Ok.
I also have the Sorby Micro spiraling system and I like it better. The saddle on the Crown has to be loosened and re tightened for every use. The Sorby can be snugged and not tightened with every use making it much more user friendly.

Texturing tool for woodturners
I've only used it briefly in several practice runs! Works pretty much like the videos I previously viewed! The more onepractices with it, the more creative one becomes!

Adequate but not exceptional tool
the overall construction of the texturing tool is very good but the cutters are mounted into the tool in a way which causes excessive friction between the cutter wheel and the tool. I found that the tool would not cut clean spirals or fine texture, particularly in wood that was not extremely hard, resulting in ragged cuts and more tear-out that I would like to have on fine turnings. Much more expensive version of similar tools use
