Aside from getting a metal rattling when pulling a towel, this holder will be around longer than the cabinets you're putting it under. Getting it installed is tricky, but I found that if you use brass threaded inserts (3/4 inch), you can bore a hole under the cabinet without striking through the bottom. Maybe using a wood screw will suffice, but in the long run, they'll come out of the particle board cabinets. Remember to coat the threaded inserts with Tite Bond wood glue ( just wear some latex gloves)

Item is sturdy and keeps my thick paper towel in place. Adhesion seems to be ok so far but I cannot say for sure how long it will hold up for as It has not been up for long.So it's been up for around 2 weeks now I think or more and it is holding up great. A definite must by if ur looking for a good paper towel holder

Pleased with appearance and was easy to install. Definitely need two hands to tear off a towel as the roll moves freely on the rod.

These are fantastic. I buy them and install them in our vacant apartments. You should install the curved support brackets for the rod so they are facing AWAY from you, toward the back wall!

I first adhered it under the cabinet, but then decided to screw it into the wood with the provided hardware. Works great, and cleared space on my countertop.

I first bought a cheaper paper towel holder and did not like it at all. The adhesive was so cheap, it wouldn't hold without using super glue. Even after that, the metal was so flimsy, that I was afraid it would gradually fall off. That one is going back tomorrow. Then, I found this one. Yes, it was more money, but well worth it. The metal (stainless steel), was thick and very sturdy. The adhesive stuck right to the bottom of our cabinet without the use of super glue. I did use the screws also as a backup, but the main reason for using the screws, were to place those nice looking caps that cover the screws. I just tried placing the bar across it, and it goes in the grooves so nice and tight. I'm not worried about the bar slipping off when anybody uses it. It only took me about 10 minutes to install it even with using the screws. What more can you ask for?

I used both the adhesion strip and screws, has been very sturdy. Easy to install if you don't use the screws, might need minor effort if you use the screws.All metal although I did bend the hook holding the bar once, but I was able to bend it back.Looks clean, comes with screw caps to hide the screws.

Very easy to install. Installed underneath the cupboard and used the small screws just for piece of mind. Only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the rod is slightly to short and doesn't slide into the grooves of the holder easily. It needs to be done forcefully. I tried to bed the holder part onwards but I had already adhered it to the cupboard so it is not easy to do now. Otherwise it's great.

I just put it up a couple of days ago, I’m not sure how well the adhesion will last yet. Although I’m hopeful from other reviews that the adhesion will work well. Otherwise I’ll use the screws that came with the paper towel holder because I like the structure of it and hope to keep it. Looks very sturdy. Thanks!

i was kinda iffy about using the adhesive but i stuck it to my painted wall in the kitchen and its on there really good.. cant see it coming off unless you put alot of weivht on it.. i was very surprised. make sure to clean the surface well and give it the recommended time to let it cure before putting any weight on it just incase, its in the instructions.

What a joy to have my paper towel off of the counter! Very easy to install, ended up using the screws provided. Will fit Jumbo rolls! Would definitely buy again - worth every penny!
