I bought this for updoing cowgirl hats for a bachelorette party. I was impressed that you get the gun and glue sticks for such a reasonable price! I used the gun to hot glue 6 stretchy sequined ribbons to the base of the wicker hats. It worked like a charm. Within 2-3 seconds of attaching the end of the ribbon onto the hat I was able to stretch the ribbon completely around the base. I used 4 more dollops (one on each side of the hat, one on the opposite end, and one on top of the first dollop) to secure the ribbon in place, and each one attached with no problem. 6 hats and one fantastic night later, we ended the evening with all of our hats looking as pretty as they did when I first glued the ribbons on!Pros:Great value for the price!Heats quickly and maintains heat wellGlue melts and firms quickly, leaving little to no trailsSmall enough to fit easily in your hand.Cons:None so far!

Does just as it says. Heats and melts. Very cheap price but slightly better construction that expected. They give plenty of extra glue sticks which is nice and the dual temp has it's benefits. It DOES have a stand, for those who were wondering, which is also convenient. Cable is lengthy. It does NOT feel like it will fall apart anytime soon. Great for small repairs and crafts.

This glue gun is a wonderful value and exactly what I needed for my craft kit. I chose to order this one because it was the cheapest on amazon, but that does not speak to its quality at all! This is a very solid glue gun. The plastic is very dense and heavy, and the element heats up very quickly. The glue sticks that it comes supplied with work great and keep a strong bond. 2016 - Update: Used this little miracle tool again today, and must say I don't know why I waited so long to purchase it. Got a wall mirror at a garage sale and wanted to trip the edge with decorative rope and hang from the wall as a yoga mirror. I was able to affix the rope in about 15 minutes. No muss, no fuss. Laid a 4" bead of melted "glue," pressed the rope into place and continued all around the edge. So easy. Mirror hanging in about 30 minutes, start to finish. Great little tool!2015 - This is my first glue gun, and I'm glad I started out small. This one is light, so my fingers don't cramp when doing a long project. You can use different manufacturers' glue sticks without a problem, and the little wire stand does the trick. It's just right for the small home project.

We share this Amazon account. I didn't even see he got me this glue gun. I had bought another kind but THIS ONE stands and stays put, has the whole dual temp and the point is perfect. Im not wasting glue like before because it won't come out until you pull the trigger. Did I mention it stays standing??? One tiny piece of plastic holds it up. Game changer

This little gun is perfect for the occasional craft project and quick fix around the house. Heats up quickly, and the stand is very handy to put the gun down while working on your project. The glue sticks that come with it seem to be high quality, as I used it to glue somewhat heavy seashells to a net that I hung on the wall. The glue has held them for some time now.

I like the fits better in my hands as I get older. Easy to use. I don't like the that the glue sticks go really fast and they are not cheap.

I thought Surebonder was a well know company. But this product is awful. The glue leaked out the top when pulling the trigger! I got a replacement but and it was a little bit better in that area but with this one, hardly any glue comes out of the tip! I have to squeeze the trigger so hard and many times just to get one drop. I dont like it at all. I was in the middle of a project so I ran up to Dollar Tree and got one. Works great!! haha

I've only used this glue gun twice. The first time it was immediately noticed that the glue didn't heat well and it took all my might to squeeze the nozzel and get it to dispense glue. No glue gun should need such force to get the glue to flow and my hand fatigued very quickly. Today I tried to use it again and again the glue didn't heat well and after a few minutes (again needing all my force) the glue spilled out from the sides. I've used glue guns for years, and this was by far the worst device I've ever come across.
