Cons- Requires USB C adapter or cable to plug in to power. This makes it incompatible with most things.- Requires special adapter for ANY video. This make it compatible with most thingsThis marks my end of Rasperry Pie stupidity. I can't ever seem to find the correct cables, and these are simply light weight bricks that don't see any usage. I HATE Raspberry Pi now. Thanks, Ada!

Unfortunately my board when I got it, seemed to have worked well until I okayed the updates. Ever since I updated the software, it has only been purple screening my smart tv since. I have tried various ways to get it to work, reformatting the micro sd card that I have been using. then reinstalling all the files, I get back to the original home screen after making a password, then end up having to update once more. I would do the update and seems to brick all the information and have to start over again. I have tried another micro HDMI cord, that didn't fix it. I tried another board that a friend had, and THAT seems to have fixed my problem.

I love it!!!... Finally a Pi that I can play Linux games on and run other Linux programs. All of the other Pi's I' used in the past were too slow, this one works really well.

Great Raspberry Pi 4 kit and arrived quickly. Been using it as my e-mail and calendar device in the kitchen.

The kit assembled easily. Purchased several for various projects. The Pi 4 is very fast. Happy with the price of this kit.

I enjoy diy hobbies and the Pi is great for that.

While the Raspberry Pi 4 included in this is legit & awesome, a fan-less case is not a good idea if you're going to be doing any intensive work with this model.More power in the CPU definitely results in more heat---even when exerting the exact same load as I am on my old Pi 2 (which is also fan-less and similarly designed as the case here). Even with the heatsinks, the Pi 4 quickly exceeds 80 degrees celsius during the first 2 minutes of video playback causing the temperature warning to pop-up on screen while my Pi 2 comfortably runs the same software and video content around 55 C on average (same software, same latest-version of Raspbian). And the Pi 2 is even overclocked & overvolted!There were reports shortly after the initial release of the Pi 4 that there was an update to help it run more efficiently/cooler which I have confirmed is already in place on my new Pi 4 unit. I am fully up to date with apt upgrades & rpi-update for the firmware.As a result of this disappointing discovery, I just updated the case to a design with a fan and those same activities of video playback now result in safer readings of around 50 C. I will be keeping my order here to avoid the hassle of sending everything back just to re-order the barebones Pi but on future purchases I will not go this route again.
