tricky to use for skin care but a quality product.
needs light source to use for up close skin care, but overall is a valuable tool against ingrown hairs located anywhere more distant from the eyes than one’s face.

Tried to use to magnified coins , picture still leaves a lot of guess work. Not worth the money!
Did not bring a true picture, clear picture of and object. Had a cheaper magnify projector that did a better job. Was not worth the money!

Not for amateurs.
If you've never cobbled together equipment or software you have no idea how to operate, this is not the digital microscope for you. No quick start or assembly instructions. No descriptions of parts ( I literally had a lens left over that didn't fit any of the other parts.) Errors on the CD prevented installation of the viewing software. Remote only works with HDMI, not on the USB. Controls on the camera appeared not to to work. Computer would not recognize camera connected with HDMI. HAYEAR apparently does not have a North American office, so support is all Amazon. They gave a valiant try, but they have no idea what they're doing either.Best thing I can say is it's well machined.

Great products really love it

Works well.
Works well, however, it is difficult to measure because it has a variable manual zoom. It forces you to re-calibrate the measured distance everytime you move the zoom.

Worked great until it died
Was really happy with this for 5 months (got it as a xmas gift). I used it primarily for SMD soldering but also did a little jewelry and a bunch of other random stuff that needed close inspection. Solid clarity for the price, though you often have to manipulate the lighting to get a good picture, the optics don't help much with glare. Solid optics "for the price", this is a cheap HDMI microscope and its good for the price. Then 5 months in it just stopped working completely. I took the little guy apart and found the blown component shown in the picture (taken with my phone and magnifying glass, because obviously the microscope is busted). I'd love to fix it but can't identify this "E1DS9" component that popped. I'd give this things 5 stars for the price if the logic board hadn't busted itself. Bummer to have a $0.05 jellybean IC render the optics unusable. 5 months with occasional periodic use wasn't really much wear and tear at all, it should last much longer.
