I bought this to treat eczema on my wrists. The stuff actually got rid of it after applying daily for two weeks. If that doesn't speak to its quality, then I don't know what does. I tried everything except topical steroids. Nothing worked. This licorice root did the job.

I am using this product for topical skincare instead of as a supplement after discovering my skin's love for licorice extract and reading a Reddit forum discussing the method of mixing a few drops of the herbal supplement into any face creams, toners, etc. I decided to buy this one since it contains no alcohol and was a large, affordable quantity. I started mixing two drops into my toner every night and saw results within a few days. My skin was brighter, more even, and hyperpigmented spots started fading rapidly. The added glycerin helped to boost hydration as well. Even if used as a supplement, the taste is surprisingly palatable, sweet and herbal. Would highly recommend for topical application, as licorice has been studied for its brightening, antioxidant, and anti-redness properties.

I don’t know about any health effects yet, as I took about three squirts in 10oz of water earlier today. I’m hoping it’ll just kinda prime me for mtf hormones when I start taking them. The cons: the liquid looks evil. The max dosage per use, will drain the bottle fairly quickly (three squirts). Pros: great flavor, and I don’t really even like licorice except in tea and the green fairy. For real, licorice candies and even licorice tea hit way harder on the pallet than this concentrate. I assume this is because of the normalization of some flavor enrichment process for candies? And maybe the concentrate is just the real deal. Either way, I don’t like the flavor of licorice most of the time, and I feel like this would be a fantastic addition to pastries if I felt like getting creative. The flavor is just fantastic, and again, I usually don’t enjoy licorice.

I almost when to the ER. I monitor my own blood pressure. Woke up and my vision was blurry. Checked my Blood Pressure, 183/101. Normally it rests at 140/80ish. Not great but I am working on it. So licorice root worked great for my heartburn, this stuff is great quality, tastes great. This is an excellent quality product but at the recommended dosage it is dangerous for people with a history of high blood pressure. I started taking it for roughly a week before symptoms caught up. This extract is rich in glycyrrhizic acid, the chemical causing my elevated blood pressure. There are other adverse effects known about this but I am not having any other issues that I am aware of. On the Bottle it says consult your physician for a reason! Don't make my mistake with a preexisting condition. If you do decide to use it, use it sparingly, check your blood pressure regularly. Don't use the electronic monitors, learn to manually do it yourself. This is unregulated "prescription strength" plant extract. Very high quality and not to be taken as lightly as i did because I loved the taste....

This Licorice root Extract is a good aid to have at home for any skin dryness and rashes. It's so effective and natural.

I purchased this and 2 other items for my dogs allergies. She’s 10 1/2 years pills never worked but these items did. Also her coat is softer. Anyone who loves their pet knows the misery of seeing them in discomfort
