Remington F7-7800 Men's Interceptor Foil Shaver with Charge Stand, Black

The shave is the best I have gotten with an electric shaver! I have owned Norelco rotaries, Panasonic ES models, and Braun models. By far the best shave. I also like the middle blade of the shaver that gets the occasional rogue hairs that grow long. Will have to see if this model holds up over the long run though. I owned a Remington F-5800 for two years and it finally died on me. Same blade model and same great shave. In all fairness I think the fault was mine. I had one major drop of the unit and packed it incorrectly my last airline trip. I DEFINITELY recommend buying a generic hard case to protect the shaver while traveling. I bought a hard case and we will see how this new unit holds up. Can't say enough about the great shave!

Had Remingtons for years, finally wore out last one. This one fits my hand better because it's a little longer. Didn't know if I would like pivoting head but it really works by keeping blades in line with skin, quieter than old one too. Does a nice job,

I used the shaver less than a 2 months and the speed started to slow down and suddenly stop. I cleaned it deeply and it worked for another couple of days and again it stopped. I did the daily and monthly cleaning as it is specify on the manual. I tried to pull apart the shaver head but it was impossible since the screws on the side are too small, and the screw is that cheap that after few tries to loose the screw, it just lost its head. Too much money for a shaver that doesn't last two months.

I returned this shaver because it did a very poor job on my neck and the foil irritated my face, unlike the Braun's Series 7.

I have had the F7-7800 shaver for about 2 weeks. I have used Remington shavers all my shaving life. I still have three older model Remington shavers and like them but they are not giving a close shave anymore even with new cutters/screens. I liked the trimmer much better than the new one. Very strange place for a trimmer and does not work nearly as well. I am getting a fairly good shave but can still fell stubble on my neck with my hand after shaving. I am shaving dry now after using liquid pre-shave all my life. Am I suppose to use this or a powder with this shaver? The jury is still out on this one. I have tried the rotary shavers but took them right back away due to bad results. Also, I cannot believe that a case is not included with a $140 shaver! The old ones always came with the case but they are too small for this shaver. It's also very hard to find one that will work. The least Remington could due is offer one in their listings.

Close shaving and quite powerful, The charging stand is a plus, this way it's always in full power. A bit bulkier in size, but not heavy. Fair price, but original replacement Screen and cutter is a bit pricey. Very good over all.

I shave dry, this shaves close and is comfortable to use, easy to clean, like the digital time indicater on front. The blades and new foil will not cost an arm and leg to replace. I switched from a Norelco 3D Floating Head shaver because they changed the blades, to many users not happy with the shave they where getting, the cost of the new blades very close to the cost of the Remington F7-7800, happy with the change.

This by far is the best electric I've ever used. I charge it once every 2 weeks, shave is close and comfortable. One tip: clean it often, a can of compressed air works great.
