Washing Machine Cleaner, Lemon (6 x 250ml) 1.5L

I am using Dettol washing machine cleaner regularly. And so far can't complaine:- The machine smell nice and fresh for a while after running the cleaning cycle with it at 60 degrees- You can't see how it removes the limescale and dirt right? Paradox is you do see and feel it when the washing machine breaks down. Hassle, time and money. Mine is in such an awkward place under the stairs and locked in by a shelf that I don't want to risk it - so periodic use of a cleaner is a no brainer.- My washing machine has a cleaning cycle with hot water but I am sure it cannot clean alone the limescale and dirt (with same hard water by the way) just by heating the water and running empty in a hot cycle :) Even the limescale in the bathroom - we never wash and scrub with water alone, isn't it? Especially considering nowadays we use just capsules instead of powder detergent and it is proven that in short cycles with cold water they don't dissolve perfectly well - so all this stuff builds up in both machine and the piping.I am using different product from Dettol and they always seem to be of a good quality and at a reasonable price. In my opinion - this product does worth to be used. Nothing lasts forever, but better longer than shorter.

I ordered 2 six packs of the Dettol Washing Machine Cleaner on 18th July. Being a Prime customer I expected the delivery in a matter of days. I was then told the delivery would be between Aug 1st and Sept 1st. Not very impressed with that, but I have used the product many times so I thought it would be worth waiting for. After Sept 1st I get notification that the product is unavailable at this time and they will send me an Email when it is available. Then after a few weeks I am told it will be delivered on Oct 24th. Guess what, it finally arrived yesterday Oct 5th. As usual with Amazon deliveries, I have designated a safe place to leave parcels but this is totally ignored and the parcel was left leaning against my front door. It would have been helpful if the driver had the time and common sense to press the doorbell. As for the product, brilliant, cleans the machine and leaves it smelling of lemon, what more could you ask for, other than a better delivery time 11 weeks is a little too long.

Mum swears by this says leaves her machine cleans smelling fresh at time of purchase was a good deal

The Dettol brand guarantees the quality so you know you can’t go far wrong with this. Simply pour into your conditioner drawer and run the machine care cycle. It’s quite thick so empty the last of the bottle onto a cloth to wipe round the door seals etc. One thing to note… the cleaner becomes very foamy in use and I find with my Bosch that the foam creeps out out of the drawer and runs down the machine. It’s quite entertaining really and reminds me of some sort of 1970’s Dr Who monster. It’s not much but you might want to put something down to keep the floor dry. Enjoy!

This stuff is great and it leaves a lovely lemony smell in your washing machine which lasts 23 washes. I will use it again in about six weeks time.
