Sheaffer100 Glossy Blue Lacquer Ballpoint Pen with Polished Chrome Trim

It was a gift for my husband. His old one was no longer serviceable. It’s definitely very giftable.

This pen glides smoothly across the paper, I love it! I grew up using a Shaeffer cartridge pen, and have fond memories of them. Currently, I have 8 fountain pens, some quite expensive, and none of them writes as well as this inexpensive Shaeffer. One note, my pen was enclosed in plastic wrapping, and not a gift box as described. The included cartridge was already inside the barrel. Remove the cartridge, turn, and reinsert to allow the nib to puncture. Enjoy!

I have been a Shaffer fan since my Dad gave me a pen and pencil set when I was eight years old. This pen is a nice everyday addition to my collection. Nothing special, but reliable.

It's a great weight and circumference, looks classy and writes with elegant ease.I couldn't be happier (with a pen !).

There is nothing to dislike about this pen. It writes smoothly and evenly, and is better than the $1.00 packs of paper-mate pens and BIC pens found in places like Walmart, Walgreens, or Target.It’s an overall good pen and is comparable with the more expensive Cross pens but for the fraction of the price.

The item description clearly says it comes in a luxury gift box, which is why I purchased said pen for a gift and it most definitely did not arrive in a box. Would be great if someone can ship me one.

I would get this one in a fine nib instead of the medium for that crisper line but it still writes well very smooth flow .

Pen has a great weight and substantial in the hand. Since I prefer a roller ball instead of a ballpoint I simply exchanged the refill and even though the end extends down a little further because I did not use a Shaeffer refill, it really does not affect the writing and retracts perfectly back into place. Really like it - just not the refills.

I bought a Scheaffer pen 40 years ago which looked almost identical to this model.After 40 years, it finally broke, so I ordered one of these.Pure junk. The clip constantly fell off, and after only 1 year, it broke.It is MUCH lighter than the original, and feels insubstantial.Buying a Parker this time.Very disappointed in the huge drop in quality.

I have the exact same pen in red which I bought around 10 years back, that feels lot more quality than this one. Not happy with the drop in quality which is massive - so much so that I returned it.

Good fountain pen!! I love this although it is made from plastic! It will be more fantastic if it is made from metal!
