These spikes are pretty great! Was going for a terracotta pot but found these spikes and had to give them a try.. just started growing borage(bee bush), strawberries, cherry tomatoes and holy basil in large pots and im just starting to see the growth. While the surrounding dirt looks super dry the baby plants look super green. I always had trouble with my plants at this stage they would already be yellowing because of watering issues. Not this time everything is so green and lush cant wait to see when plants are full grown. Also i dont know how, but i noticed one of my bottle setups had mosquito larvae swimming around. Was super shocked and still wondering how they got in. I actually quarantined the flower pot with that spike and leaving it alone for now to see if these critters find a way out. I dont think they will, but just in case i have the pot in a small growing tent waiting to see what happens

Bought these to use on some planters while traveling. Tested it out on our indoor meyer lemon tree. Soaked the spike overnight, filled a 750ml wine bottle with water, and took about 1.5-2 weeks for the whole bottle to empty. Kept soil nice and moist in the area near the spike. Its a 5' tree so the pot is very large, probably would have been better to use 2 spikes simultaneously to keep all the soil consistently moist. Overall, happy with the purchase.

I love whole idea of being able to provide water for plants through this system. I did however find these clay spikes very brittle. A couple of them just shattered when I placed the bottle of water on top of them.

Two were broken, even tho they were packed well! I think they will be good in flower pots but I needed all of them 😢

I like them because they deliver the water as the plant needs it. However, don't push to hard as they crumble.

I had given to me as a gift and it really helps in not having to water your plants daily epecially if you live in an apartment. So much easier than hauling jugs of water around.

I tried the plastic spikes that hold bottles; they were difficult to maintain. I switched to these terra-cotta bottle holders. So much easier to add the water and stand in the pots. Ended up buying three sets.

I absolutely recommend these for your plans if you’re traveling or just wanna water less. I searched around for the best price and this is totally the best for the price!
