I have always saved bacon grease and love the size of this container. It's a little larger than what I had been using. It's cute and feels like I should hold up good. It came with a little mesh to filter the grease but I don't filter my grease. So I use the mess thing to finish my pickle jars. Put it over the top of the jar and pour the liquid out. It works great. I would recommend it.

This is so cute. I have a lot of enamel in my home, both new and vintage. Not only does it fit with.mu other pieces, it is solid. The screen us a nice touch. Haven't used it yet, but I will. Definitely worth the price

I like the size and look of this grease container. I especially like the removable screen insert and the ease of use of this container. It seems whenever I fry bacon, or anything else, afterwards I'm trying to find a container to pour the grease/oil in. This has eliminated the hunt for such. It sits nicely next to my stove and has a homey/country look, can be managed with one hand while I'm pouring the oil into the container with my other hand and the screen inside catches any debris or bacon bits, keeping it free from such in the event I want to reuse the bacon grease in another recipe. I gave it a 4 for durability as it's made out of enamel and I felt metal covered with enamel would have been stronger; however overall rating is definitely a 5 and I do recommend people purchasing this adorable, user friendly container. A must have on your counter.

I threw out my husband's bacon grease keeper a few years ago because he didn't strain the grease and the little bits grossed me out. He also didn't really use it often, so I'm pretty sure it was rancid, even in the fridge, after a couple of years. But recently I got on a keto diet and decided I wanted to keep strained bacon grease in the fridge for eggs, etc. This little bacon grease keeper is SO CUTE! It's big enough that I can keep a nice amount of bacon grease, but not so big that we'll have gallons lying around going rancid. The quality seems fine, the strainer is sturdy and washed up easily after use. The design is perfect for my farmhouse style kitchen. I would love to keep it on the counter, but I'm paranoid about food-borne illnesses. It looks really cute in the fridge though next to the eggs. I took off 1 start because it seems really overpriced for how basic it is. It's very light, and the lid only sits on top, doesn't seal. It will be just fine for my use, and I am glad I bought it, but half the price would have been more reasonable.

I had two small containers that I kept my bacon grease in and they were taking up space on my kitchen cabinet and plus they were not design for that...so I ordered this and I am loving it so far...I just wished that it had a pouring spout...but I can live without that.

I was gifted a large grease container, but did not like it's large size. I mean...how much grease does a person need?! This item came up while I was searching for a grease container in a smaller form factor, and I liked this design. It did not disappoint in person, and appears to be of nice quality. We keep ours in the fridge because we live in a very warm and humid environment, and it's doing great! I'll amend my review if things change, but so far, it's great!

Retro looking piece of kitchen equipment that is quite adequate to catch bacon drippings, the sieve is decent size and works well.

Cute and can be left on counter, love the strainer.
