Mission Possible: The Wonderful Story of God and a Wycliffe Translator in the Jungles of Papua New Guinea

This is an incredible book that I read many years ago. It was brought it to my memory and I decided to order to read again and pass along to a friend. The book arrived damaged, so I’m happy I’m passing it along as a second hand book as opposed to ordering it as an outright gift.

This book was very interesting. I wish it would have been written in first person, but, it was very inspirational

This is a wonderful story and I enjoyed it very much. First learned of this book on the Really Living program on TV. It is great to hear of someone that put their trust in God to do a work like this. Great read!

I bought this book - "Mission Possible" - as a gift for a teenage girl who is interested in Bible translation work. I decided it looked so interesting that I would read it first. I was not disappointed. It was so encouraging to read about a Papua, New Guinea tribe of about 500 people getting the Bible in their own language. After 23 years from start to finish they had the New Testament in "their talk". What a wonderful testimony to God's love.

I first bought this book after hearing Marilyn speak. It is almost as good as hearing her in person although nothing can match her dynamic personality. Hers is a story of incredible faith and a lifetime of service. Find out how God used a young single women to transform an entire jungle community. I have loaned this book out multiple times both at home and overseas. It has inspired many missionaries of today. For anyone seeking to follow God's will for their life, this will be an encouragement.

Exceptional book! Loved every minute of reading it. travelled out to PNG this summer and randomly ran into another missionary working in the Sepik region. the tales are incredible. I tell many people about the kissing snake!
