Parabens are a group of commonly used ingredients that act as a preservative in cosmetics and personal care products. They are highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria and yeast that could contaminate and degrade products.

As part of our commitment to deliver high-quality, effective products, certain parabens are used in some of our formulations to ensure the safety of our consumers. Additionally, as part of our innovation strategy we are developing packaging systems and new product formulations that are less vulnerable to microbiological contamination, which will limit the use of preservatives in general.

It's been two weeks and I've washed my hair a million times and this stuff still won't wash out!! Help!!!

I've never had this problem and I have tons of hair, so I have to use tons of product. Try Shea Moistures shampoo and maybe even rinse your hair with vinegar; that could help cut some of the greasy buildup and loosen the product from your hair shaft.
