This is a review on this case as a gaming device only -- I haven't tried fitting it onto a phone, I've just been using it as a silly portable game console. For that purpose, it's great. I would like to be able to adjust the volume, but the only way seems to be by physically covering the speaker. The screen also gets wonky if you press the back of it -- attached to a phone, this wouldn't be an issue since the phone would block it. The included games are cute, although Arkanoid gives unlimited lives, which I guess could be good? I also can't figure out how to play some of the games, but if I decide I care, I expect to find instructions if I search online. The battery life is not as long as I would have expected -- I suppose if you charge this case when you charge your phone, and don't play this "console" constantly, you should be okay. Overall, this is a fun novelty.

This is a great case! I was excited about all the game features and I love the color. The only negative thing about this case is that the buttons are reversed so I makes it difficult to play some of the games properly. Otherwise, the charge last about five days, and I use it often during breaks out of I'm waiting at a doctor's office, bored, etc. If the buttons were placed correctly I would purchase this case again.

I was so excited to get this case and I wasn’t disappointed! Overall I just enjoyed the aesthetic of it so I knew I’d be okay even if the games or buttons didn’t operate very well. Playing the games at first, you can tell the buttons weren’t as strong as they should be cause you kind of have to push down on it roughly. But after a month or two of having it, the button only ever popped out once but I caught it in time to fix it the screen is still in good condition, ive only ever dropped it once and it still works so I don’t have many complaints. I say it’s worth the buy it’s just up to you to take care of it !

Case is falling apart after only having it for two months. It isn't very durable, and the outside lining of the case is flimsy. Started to crack and pull away from the case after only two months of having it. I had bought a case like this one from a different manufacturer and was so very pleased with it. Sadly, I dropped that case in the toilet and was hoping this case would be as nice. It wasn't. The game part of the case works well and has the actual Nintendo Gameboy games. If only the rest of the case was made better.

This is a great novelty item for us millennials that grew up on Mario and other games that this emulator case can play. However, fit and finish is less than ideal. The buttons remind me of that tiny water game you could get at the dollar store where you mushed the rubber buttons to get the rings on the pole. They are pretty much useless on this device, and I am pretty sure they could have saved more money by using some cheap plastic instead of this non-responsive rubber ones. Good idea, bad materials.

This case is awesome! Great for waiting, which we all seem to do a bunch of lately. The games, some are old school NES, and some are parodies depending on public domain or license. No it doesn’t save progress but they never did. Super fun and worth it. I have had it a couple months now and still going strong. A few other people I know played mine and bought one right after. Games in English or Mandarin.

This product is great so far, but haven’t been able to use much. My 11 year old son picked this out for his first phone but I was pretty excited for it too. It seems like it will protect the phone well and the games play almost like the real thing. There is a ton of great games that brought back some good memories. Now for the warning, my son brings his phone to school and leaves it in his backpack. If his stuff squishes it a little it can turn the power button on. When you first turn it on, the column is seriously loud. You can turn the volume down, but it always starts on the highest when it turns on. So needless to say it made for a couple of embarrassing times in class when it turned on. I had to buy him a regular case for school, and maybe he can use this one on summer break. I also thought about getting myself one of these, but I keep my phone in my back pocket and I’m afraid the same thing will happen during times you don’t want it to. I feel there should be a silent switch or something like that. But the product itself it great so I still did 5 stars.

I had high hopes for this after watching reviews on YouTube, but was bitterly disappointed. Some games have serious issues - one does not start, another freezes randomly, while others seem to be fine. The build quality is shoddy. I wasn't expecting much for the price but the games I was most interested in have issues making them unplayable.
