Red Miso Paste | No MSG, No Preservatives, Vegan, Kosher | 35.2 oz - Tetsujin

This is a very good product. I am not professional chef but I enjoy learning to cook Asian foods. This is a useful product to make many kinds of Asian stews, soups, and sauces. Keeps a long time in the fridge. When I received my package of miso, I opened the bag with scissors from top to bottom and scooped out the miso and put it in a large jar in the fridge so it is easy to access with a spoon. There is a white version of miso, which I understand is for lighter, less hearty tasting soups and sauces.

I wasn't getting what I wanted from the boxes of miso soup they would sell in the grocery. Using this, along with Bonito & kombu made my miso soup turn into what I want when O go to a sushi restaurant. Very tasty, the miso bloomed in the soup the way it does when it's done right and the quality for the price means I will have a lot of soup to make!

Red bean paste but not very distinctive in taste, comes in 1 kg which is a whole lot of it, gave some away to three other friends, still have plenty. Doesn't seem to have as interesting a taste as red miso soup I get at local Chinese restaurants.

This is the best miso at the best price that I have ever had. I mix it with lemon juice and olive oil for salads. I've been using miso for 50 years and highly recommend. The bag is kind of a hassle but I transfer to a mason jar for convenience

I added about an eighth of an ounce of this product to the edges of some pizza crust after it had cooled. So without going into too much detail, the next day I was able to say that this product "works" as far as assisting with digestion and likely adds good bacteria to a person's system. Though not if you are allergic to - and/or simply trying to avoid soy, as that's what it's made from. Other than for those who are allergic to soy it's a good product.

This miso paste taste great and it is a good value for the size. The only downside is that the packaging is not resealable and the paste has to be transferred to a different container with a lid

Great deal for a healthy and tasty miso. I moved it out of the plastic packaging and into a mason jar.

Great product but 4 stars for packaging
