Sound barriers DYI.
I needed something to use as a sound barrier between two rooms. I bought these along with a piece of backer board from the local home store. Used aerosol glue to attach the panels to the board. 3' by 5' sizing. Bought a clothing rack on with wheels and now I just roll the barrier as needed. Not perfect but it muffles the sound enough between both rooms so it's not a battle of the volume controls.

A little thicker would be nice
Works well with my home studio. Material quality could be a little better. Could be a little thicker installs easy. Removes easy. Could be more durable if it was a little thicker. Sound insulation is okay but it would be better if it were thicker. My gf is nice but she could be….a little thicker.

Works great to get rid of reverb
These are great but keep in mind they are not pro grade. I used these for my vocal booth to deaden the sound and they worked perfectly. If you are actually trying to treat a studio room for mixing professionally you may be disappointed. I would recommend these for things like rehearsal rooms and spaces where you don’t want reverb. If you just want something simple to soften reverb these work.

Very Thin Even After Expansion
Right out of the box these are very thing. I did not do the water soak method to help expand them, I instead chose to leave them out for a few days. The photos attached to this review were taken a few days after letting them sit. They don't include any adhesive, so I found a listing for 3M adhesive tabs. They do seem to dampen sound very slightly. With the 3M tabs they were easy to install. Quality and durability seem a bit on the low side.

Works great
Came quickly and is already installed to reduce hollow sounds in my shop. Works great.

It works, but it could be better.
I would have liked it to be a little thicker and to include some adhesive.

Just plain old foam
There's nothing "acoustic" about this foam. Not nearly dense enough to attenuate sound, not 1" thick, and has absolutely zero effect on sound. I wanted to reduce noise from my basement as heard from the first floor. I affixed these panels to a thick piece of cardboard that was stapled to the underside of the floor joists. My test was to set my phone playing a song on repeat at a volume barely audible when standing upstairs directly above this foam with the phone underneath it. The idea being that I could raise the volume on the phone to get some quantitative measure of the sound attenuation. There was no difference whatsoever in the volume. I even borrowed a high quality decibel meter from work and confirmed there was absolutely no change in volume with the panels vs without. In fact, even just using two pieces of cardboard worked better than these panels on 1 piece of cardboard. It is very cheap and for good reason. Spend a bit more and save yourself the time and disappointment.

CostvsQuality = meets general expectations
Using them to spare the rest of the household from excessive amounts of bass music coming from this room. Just spaced one individual trial pack bought to test them out and for the cost, it’s exactly what I expected. I’ll most likely purchase a few more. No complaints

I’m satisfied with my purchase.
These acoustic foam panels are excellent. As for their actual soundproofing performance, I haven’t tested them enough yet since I haven’t installed enough panels to see whether they’ll reduce echo effectively. I mainly bought them for the look, and they do an excellent job as a background for videos. They look great and are exactly what I was hoping for. Overall, I think they’re a great value for the money, especially the larger pack, which offers more panels at a lower price per piece.

Will take days to "Expand"
Haven't really tested the product, But they claimed that it's a "Rapid Expansion" Which is clearly not, It took 3 days to expand, Some of the panels aren't fully expanded, But the more you wait the better expansion.
