Push to Open Door Catches for Cupboard Jiayi Touch Open Magnetic Latch

We bought this to operate as a 'push to open' for a cupboard in our utility room. The latch itself is well constructed with a metal external cover over plastic internals. It includes 2 latches and 2 stick-on metal plates that magnetically connect to the end of the main mechanism, which keeps the door/drawer pulled closed when shut. The latch has a screw adjustment which enables you to wind the end in and out, allowing for minor adjustment of the final open and close position of the door or drawer.Fixing is done with either 4 small screws or an included double sided sticky strip. My recommendation is to use the screws where possible. The sticky strip, whilst easier to fit, is not the full width of the latch so its sits in the middle of the mounting plate, which isn't flat. Therefore the latch side of the sticky strip is not in full contact with latch and comes loose after a few uses. You can fix this by cutting the strip down the middle and putting each length under the flat plate where the screw holes are.Overall these are good value for the money, perform as expected and easy to install. I have reduced it down by one star as I believe the sticky strip supplied should be the full width of the latch for proper adhesion or supplied as two strips to go under either side of the mounted plate. It's a small thing but would be an improvement. No problems with the latch itself.

I have a full length double door Ikea Billy bookcase with spring loaded catches, push to close, push to open, one on each door. One catch has gone missing (!) so needed a replacement. These are much bigger than the originals but did the job and they are mostly out of site.They were fitted in a minute with no tools or screws.So to sum up, reasonable price, easily fitted, quickly delivered, and did the job. Using these to hold closed a boiler cupboard in a bathroom.The springs are good and strong, they push the door open well.But, the magnets are so weak the cupboard door swings open when the bathroom door is opened.

These pop out catches arent the best quality. They do the job but feel quite flimsy, so I don't know how long they will last....time will tell.Good for doors that are infrequently used but suspect that they would not be sufficiently robust for doors that have a lot of daily use.The screw out adjustment has a very loose thread which doesn't exude quality and is likely to become detached easily. I applied a small amount of glue to the thread to alleviate this possibility.The magnet is very weak also, so I purchased a strong screw-on magnet to assist the magnetic adhesion.I wouldn't repurchase these.

Auch das Schließen klappt problemlos, der Magnet hält gut und sorgt dafür, dass die Tür bündig bleibt. Ich habe es an einer Schranktür und einer kleinen Schublade getestet. Bei beiden kein Problem.Pro:- Einfache Montage- Sauberer Push-to-Open-Mechanismus- Magnet zuverlässig- Ideal für grifflose MöbelContra:- ein Klebestreifenfehlte, habe aber ohnehin die Schrauben verwendetInsgesamt bin ich zufrieden, für meine Zwecke funktioniert es super und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt auch.
