Premier Portable Pipe and Drape Backdrop Kit 8ft x 10ft (Black)

I have been using this pipe and drape set as a backdrop for live comedy shows for the past 2 years. This simple addition transforms a s***ty amateur bar show into a very professional looking amateur bar show. It disguises whatever clutter and distraction is behind the stage while evenly and perfectly capturing a spotlight. The result is a clean and professional looking show where the focus is on the performer.Prior to purchasing this set up I used to rent a pipe and drape from a local rental and would pay roughly $40-50 per show to have this. Even putting on shows infrequently this cost adds up and was quite frankly a pain in the ass. I purchased this pipe and drape for under $200 and within 5 shows it had paid for itself. I've since done countless shows and have gotten incredible value out of it. It has been used at friend's weddings as a picture background and at trade shows and other live events. It is incredibly versatile, durable, and long lasting. It's simple to set up and break down. Once broken down all the pieces will fit conveniently into any speaker stand/music stand tote. You'll just need to carry the floor stands separate. The curtains (3 panels) are well made. They've never ripped or even wrinkled, and they're dark enough to black out whatever is behind them. You can easily hang signs and banners from the top/cross pole to display sponsors, advertisements, etc.I'm writing this review now, years later, because I need to buy another one of these to accommodate more live events. My original is still going strong!

This pipe and drape set is awesome. It was easy to set up and it’s a lot more sturdier than I thought. It was a bit wobbly so I was afraid it would fall once I started hanging the backdrop. I was praying to sweet baby Jesus. What you see is a boxwood hedge backdrop that I created. It contains 25 very full and heavy squares. I had a time hanging it because it was heavy, but I am pleased with the outcome. Bravo! So far so good.

I already have a commercial grade pipe and drape kit but wanted something a little more portable to use with my treat tables. I was a little nervous making the purchase because several reviews talked about it being wobbly, not being able to withstand a little wind as well as a few mechanical issues with the support bar. As for me, this set is affordable portability. Is it a little wobbly? Yes, but I don’t expect to have any issues with indoor use. It’s the perfect size, light weight, easy to assemble and durable making it the perfect solution to my problem. It can be used for almost any medium and makes for a great asset to any decorators inventory.

Purchased this for a wedding backdrop of sheer fabric and it worked wonderfully. It was very sturdy and easy to put together. Wasn't worried about it falling over as it is metal and has large square plates at bottom of both sides. Came with bag to store all parts in. Searched far and wide for options on renting framing and buying and this was the best price for the best quality item. We will sell or reuse in the future.

True, I purchased this last fall and should have assembled it then, but I checked to be sure all the parts were present. What I could NOT check was whether all the parts were correct. The weather here finally was nice enough to take the kit out to assemble it in my yard, but two pieces are incorrect and don't assemble and one side of the crossbar's hook is embedded, so useless. Too late to return and a real hassle. Wasted money. And the WRITTEN instructions were blah. Checking the video instructions only work if you have the right parts. I can say the bases are strong and heavy.

Had this for 2 years now and still as sturdy and useful, and I do use it quite a lot for parties and other events
