Purchased to use as a cake pop mold. My first few didn't turn out but I eventually figured it out. It does come with little funnels but they don't work well with candy melts, so I ended up using a piping bag with a metal tip. I would pipe candy melts into the bottom (make sure the chin is filled all the way) then put the cake ball in, then I piped more candy melt around the cake ball making sure to fill all the voids. Then I put the top on and piped candy melt through the hole and put them in the freezer. When I took them out, I was very careful in separating the mold from the chocolate because if you're not careful you'll break the chin off or crush the skull. Then I used a knife to shave off the over pour from where the molds came together. And they turned out great!

These are excellent, you can really see the detail when making ice cubes. They were a little tricky to open since it’s nearly impossible to add the exact amount of water needed. The excess water sits on top and makes extra ice that you have to break in order to open them, but totally worth it for the 3D skulls! I was a little nervous with how hard I had to yank on the molds to get the ice out, but they are strong and held their shape perfectly.

Picked these up to make some fun little cocktail cubes and first thing I noticed was the hand holding them in the picture must be a childs. The picture of them in a glass must be a shot glass because I could fit all 4 at the bottom of a whiskey glass so there is no way they stack them and fill the glass as shown. Aside from the size they are fine, but don't expect them to stand out in any way once you pour over them.

Easy to use and really cool the skulls are so defined.

I used this ice mold as a fondant mold, to create skulls for a Halloween/ birthday cake. It was perfect, no weird creases, easy to remove the fondant, and more of a creepy skull look, rather than cartoony.My son did end up using it for ice, it’s intended purpose, and that worked as well... but if you’re wondering how it holds up to fondant, the answer is excellent!

Although I love the detail I get with my icecubes, most of the time they break off at the seam. Not easy to remove, but maybe in time with more practice I will find out easier. I did think these were much larger. I will order the xl next time

Update: Seller replaced the damaged form at no charge. These make cute ice cubes and are easy to use. Skulls are about 1" and look great floating in a glass!Original review:Might be great if it didn’t come with a huge rip in one of the skulls, rendering the whole form useless.

These make amazingly perfect skulls for drinks. Very flexible but returns to shape quickly. Will be using these year round.

I’m actually so impressed with the quality of these moulds ! I used chocolate rather than resin and they turned out perfectly ! Not flimsy moulds at all and I feel as though they are going to last for years to come. The details that imprinted in the chocolate are amazing and don’t get lost (you can see each tooth).. you just have to make sure to tap them on the counter a few times to release the air bubbles. Once everything sets its very easy to release the shape from the mould ! HIGHLY recommend
