Toy Story Lots O'Laugh Woody

Glad I owned this version of Woody doll, I think it's special and rare nowadays

Our daughters (2 & 3.5) have been watching Toy Story 1,2 & 3 on repeat for months now. When we knew Toy Story 4 was coming to theaters, it was finally time to bite the bullet and get them an official Toy Story toy. I looked in the stores and really (no offense to Woody) but compared to Buzz the Woody dolls really didn't do anything... trying to avoid a massive fight as to who got which toy, I at least wanted to give Woody a fair shot at things. The pull string was a must, he had to AT LEAST say "there's a snake in my boot!" and "reach for the skyyyyyyyy" for my own personal entertainment, and the fact that you can tickle this guy and make him laugh was that extra bonus I was looking for. We anxiously awaited our girls "finding" the toys that we had hidden in the house by making Woody talk and waited.... sure enough my youngest, the 2 year old- clung to woody and wouldn't stop hugging him- even after her older sister found Buzz (who might I add walks, talks, laser lights up, wings shoot out, everything!) but she never put down Woody. His hat comes on and off- which she puts back on him about 300+ times a day, she loves that he talks to her through the pull string like on the movie and the fact that she can play tickle monster with him and he laughs makes her giggle to no ends- worth. every. penny! Not to mention, he looks dead on the character in the movie and is very large, so it's easy for her to drag him around the house and soft enough to snuggle with every night. We definitely found a friend in Woody :) Expensive for a toy- yes! But worth it in the end? Absolutely!

We love my toddler’s Xmas gift although it was pricey !

Our 2 year old loves this Woody! He was a little scared of the face when he first opened it because it's a little different then other ones, but he got use to it. We do wish he had a few more sayings because his Buzz has a lot more but that's ok, he makes up for it in the extra 5 different laughs. He is perfect size next to our Buzz. The only thing hes really missing is ANDY written on his foot. Considering that this one is at least $20 cheaper than most of the other Woody dolls on Amazon it is absolutely worth every penny!!!

This toy was a gift for laughs for my 26 year old friend with a youthful heart who is full of joy. She loved it! It was an inexpensive buy that made us laugh hearing the many phrases Woody would say, including his laughing when you tickle/press his sides. It was amusing to hear him basically turn off with a phrase when we left him alone for a little while, too. I don't imagine the amusement will last long with my friend, but for a child I think the play time would go on until the next great toy is found! Comes with the necessary battery to get Woody talking!The only negative which isn't really a big deal (at least for us) is that there were two holes in Woody's hat from the packaging. Boots did not come with the name "Andy" in marker, but that's a benefit so that your child can write in their own names! :)I hope this review helps!EDIT (May 4, 2014):My friend has reported that her little baby sister (3 years old) is in love with the toy and always goes downstairs looking for "her Woody doll".

My 2.5 yr old son loved his Woody doll. He has a pull string to talk, he laughs when you push his sides, his hat comes off, but his boot doesn't say 'Andy' on this one. My son had been waiting to get Woody because he's had a Buzz Lightyear for about a year now. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wish it would say more. It says the same 3-4 things and then just laughs. But if he said some of the more memorable catch phrases from the movie it would be more awesome:) but I guess he's supposed to be a laughing Woody doll, so maybe I'll keep a look out for the more classic one and get that one for him as well.

This figure looks awesome and, once switched to "on", when the chord on his back is pulled, says almost all the movie toy phrases & some more not heard in the movie.When any of the 2 switches on his tummy are pressed, he will laugh and giggle, as if being tickled.Pressing his tummy isn't too easy to do, so I did not find myself accidentally pressing these when I didn't want to.The figure will go to sleep if left untouched for a short while. It can also be switched off.Materials feel good. Head and hands can be rotated.
