great reading material

This review is for the Library of America Hawthorne "Tales and Sketches" book. I reviewed the Hawethorne tales as "Predictable" due to his last work being published in 1850. The books from the Library of America are of very good high quality. Page-paper is very thin but not bible-thin, so these books might not work well for young readers who may tear the delicate paper. This book is almost 1500 pages in spite of its small size, making it very portable.

The book arrived in pristine condition, boxed and unmarred, on time and at a price to sing about. An excellent purchase.

The book is a collector's treasure and a priceless Hawthorne volume. 5 stars to Hawthorne and 4 stars due to the tear in the book jacket upon receipt.

He Is one of the best authors of North America .From a practical point of view maybe the sheets of the book are a bit to thin .butit really doesn't matter as soon as you read his writtings .
