Tried many of the cheaper kilo bags from Amazon in recent months and this is by far the nicest for me now. Nothing too complex but a good everyday creamy nutty smooth espresso.

This really is great coffee - smooth and creamy with a good strong coffee flavour. Really the best coffee I've had, and much cheaper than many others too.

I understand this is entirely subjective, but I didn't find this to be chocolatey at all (as the description suggests). It may be that this bag I got wasn't very fresh and this is the problem.It's got an unusual taste, it's not overly acidic, and you could still say it is smooth, but it's not a pleasant drinking experience for me. I think it may have a very high caffeine content, and that this is part of the problem.I think it's something of a medium to medium-dark roast, the beans are rather oily and dark in colour (relative to a typical medium roast).

We tried this coffee some months ago and have reordered twice more. Great value and flavour

We bought a de Longhi bean to cup coffee machine at Christmas and tried beans from well known coffee manufacturers but found they were too mild for us. Bought this to try something different and love it. Full of flavour and produces coffee which is robust with an excellent crema. Also only two thirds of the cost of the well known brands.

Disappointing. I do not know how so many good reviews, but this coffee is just rough and with hardly any favour you can speak of. Also, a slightly sour aftertaste. It’s cheap for a reason, folks. I DO know coffee, it is my only hot drink. Has been for 30 years.

This coffee has a lovely smooth chocolatey flavour! Who ever contributed to the production of these coffee beans "knew what they were doing!" very reasonable price! will be buying these again!
