Impressed by how close this is to an actual xbox 360 controller!
I've used an official xbox 360 wired USB controller for gaming for years now and it just recently kicked the bucket. Since my wire management is horrible I thought I'd try and find another controller, ideally a 360 one, that was wireless. All I could find was an xbox one controller with a wireless usb adapter, but then I stumbled upon this.I really didn't expect to find that the build quality, weight, material and feel of the triggers and buttons are pretty much identical to the real 360 controller. Setup was easy, put in some batteries, plugged the USB receiver in and windows recognised it straight away. Deadzones of the joysticks were all fine too. More than pleased with this replacement!

Fantastic alternative to official Xbox controllers
Update: Seller responded within a couple of days and resolved the issue. Now that it actually reliably works, I can assure you that it's a fantastic controller alternative to the official Xbox controllers! The controller itself is buttery smooth and it was delivered promptly, hence the 2 stars. However, where this product lost all its credibility to me is in its adapter.Plugged it in, turned on as expected and it worked almost better than the official Xbox controller. But then the controller shut itself off due to inactivity while I was busy with other things, and so did the adapter. From there on, no matter where or how I often replugged the adapter, it would not switch on again. Because neither of them have an actual sync button, I can't use them separately and with that, I managed to get not even an hour's worth of gameplay.Contacted seller but so far no response.

Excellent product and great value for money.
I'm new to PC gaming and much more used to consoles, I bought this controller just to make it easier for me to play one of my favourite RPGs.Value for money:Apart from the missing logo, there are no obvious aesthetic differences between this controller and the official product. With batteries, the weight is practically the same and the buttons and triggers don't feel cheap when you press them in. The price includes both the controller and the wireless receiver making it good value when compared to official makes.Easy to use:The controller is turned on exactly the same as official versions and all the buttons work the same. The mechanism to turn it off, however, is different and the only reason for the markdown. I personally struggle remembering what to press to turn it off, however some may like this feature.Comfort:The shape and grip are no different to the official controller and therefore I have no complaints. Even the plastic used to case the controller is practically the same and the joy sticks are covered in a similar rubbery material.Overall, considering the price and that this is an unofficial controller, I was immensely impressed with my purchase.Side note, just in case anyone else experiences this and is also confused: I thought my controller was broken after using it for 3 days, as occasionally it would just spin my in game camera round in circles and I couldn't stop it. The only way to stop this momentarily was to take the battery pack off and reinsert it, but the problem became more frequent after a while. Eventually, I replaced the battery and the problem has so far stopped. I figure it must just be an occurrence when the battery is too low.

Great Budget Friendly Microsoft Alternative
Normally this sort of thing looks great but is flimsy and useless and it ends up being false economy as you end up buying the genuine item afterwards anyway. Not with this. It's well made, the joysticks and triggers are firm and enable precision control. It connects automatically to Windows 10 using the supplied dongle and even turns itself off when you stop using it for a while. The only thing I’d change is the length of the wire on the dongle; one of the shorter connectors like for wireless mice would be better IMO but it's a very minor issue (if your PC or laptop is on a solid desk it won't bother you but I use my laptop on my lap so it dangles down the side). In summary, don't waste your money on the genuine Xbox one. With the extortionate price of it you could get 3 of these (and they'll probably last just as long anyway).

6 broken in 6 months despite gentle usage
So I bought 4 of these at first. The exterior build quality is excellent and them seem like quality products. Easy to set up and use, with no connection or software issues at all. However this is a 1 star review, so why is that? Quite simply the internal quality does not match the external one. I bought 4 of these. 1 of those 4 had a non-functioning had a faulty shoulder button. After a month 2 more had developed exactly the same fault and the 4th stopped functioning at all.I foolishly bought 2 more and guess what - one has a faulty shoulder button. And the other one? Well it constantly acts as if someone is pushing left on the left stick even when no-one's even holding it.This is despite incredibly light weight usage and good handling. These controllers all sit in a cradle when not in use, and only my 12 year old really uses them, and he treats them well. I bought 4 for the occasional family game of FIFA and a few others. We've hardly played owing to the faults. All have been treated very well, barely used, carefully stored, and all 6 have developed faults with the buttons and sticks that render them unusable. In summary, they're great on the outside, they're great when they work, but in my experience they will fail quickly.
