I'm actually using (one of) these as a nose stud, as it worked out better value than buying the single ones marketed as nose studs, and I know that eventually either I'll lose the stone or the whole thing.Hopefully this won't be for a while, as I find the Andralok fittings the most secure for nose studs, and the least visible.The mechanism isn't as good and smooth as previous Andralok studs I've used, but it's adequate - I'll see how long it lasts.The studs are sent in a small plastic bag so if you are giving these as a gift I suggest you find a small gift box for presentation.

These broke the first time I wore them leaving a sharp spike in my ear

Easy & quick to take out for school PE lessons.Small & delicate but still robust enough to wear daily & sleep in.More comfortable than butterfly backed earrings.Will definitely buy again. X

only thing is I lost both - one after a week and other a week later as so small they unclipped/folded and fell out - but did love them !!

these are great. You just have to be a bit careful you don't bend the posts the wrong way because they are obviously delicate. I can sleep in them if I am too lazy to take out all six of my earrings, so that's a plus. Much more comfortable to lie down on than conventional posts with butterfly backs. They are big enough to see the colour, (any smaller and you might as well not bother) but small enough to wear multiple earrings on the same ear.
