I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered these, but I took a chance. They are amazing!I purchased four of them, I put two in the columns at the end of the driveway and two of the columns by our front porch. They are very realistic! I wish they came in a candle Aubra base so I could use them on other fixtures around the house.

These look really realistic. We use them as torch lights at the entrance of our gate and they look great. The blue lights don't look as realistic as the orange lights. These look very realistic and they stay bright. We have had ours installed for over a year and they are on from dusk to dawn every night and they are as bright today as they were when we first installed them.

The media could not be loaded. These simulate the flicker and the approximate amount of light given off by a flame of the size of the lightbulb; but you don’t see flames dancing in them as the package and ad images suggest. They’re pretty cool, though. Relaxing. Great mood lighting. Don’t know how long they’ll last, but they seem better quality and sturdiness than other flame bulbs I’ve seen. Overall, I’m satisfied and intend on purchasing more.

They look very realistic, we are completely pleased. We bought a different brand, with a smaller base and they are terrible. Beacon Lighting Co. (beacon bulb.com) are awesome. If I had any advice, I would dial down the orange and add a bit more yellow. I would bet, their next version / update will include a color variation element, because not only are they a bit too much orange, they are strictly one color. We all know a fire is a variation of several colors, all influencing the total visual appearance.The other bulbs we bought are awful. Don't buy the Hansang brand bulb

The lifespan on these lightbulbs is very short. I leave my front porch light on all the time and in 2 months I've already used 2 bulbs out of the 4 in the package. My regular 25 watt or 40 watt lightbulbs (I interchange which wattage I use depending on the season) last at least 4-5 months without needing to be replaced. Although, these flickering bulbs look interesting at night, like flickering candles, and they were fun to use for a while to see what they would look like. However, I probably won't purchase these bulbs again, due to the high price vs. short longevity of these bulbs. Thank you.

Super super cool!!!! They look like a flickering flame when you flip the switch to turn them on. We are using it on our back patio for ambiance. We would love to put them on our front porch...just hesitant because they flicker like a real flame. We don't want our neighbor's to think we have a fire.

These work in my house lamps. Only one works outside and I bought four. I am contacting the vendor to get replacements.

Very nice flame motion - effective and realistic.Size is ideal for the effect, I like it better than what the wide bulbs would have provided.The color is kind of a pale white peachy tone - that’s why I gave it four stars - I would have preferred more of an orange and yellow tone.Have only been ‘burning’ it for about 48 hours, so don’t know about the longevity yet.
