These are the BEST!! My daughter has a milk allergy and these are the only chocolate candies she can have without causing stomach cramps. We’re so happy to have found these. Wish they would come in bulk packaging!

Edit: While eating my second bag, I discovered a "hack" that make these taste better and easier to chew. I put 3-4 in my mouth, and let them sit there for a few seconds. This seems to warm them up--and then when I chew them, the chocolate inside is softer. I also taste a lot more of the chocolate this way. (If you chew them right out of the bag, they are fairly tasteless and hard as rocks. ) Original Review: I'm sorry, but as a vegan or vegetarian for the past 18 years, I've tried a lot vegan products. Some of them just plain don't taste good--or have an unusual texture. These candies fall into both categories. I hate to write a bad review because I want to support every vegan product out there. But I can't get behind these. I will finish the 3 small bags that came with the order (eventually), and then that will be that. Here's what I don't understand. If a company like Rose City Chocolate can make such delicious, soft, creamy chocolates, why can't someone make great M&M's??? There are plenty of other good candies out there too. I believe that Mary Jane's are "accidentally vegan"--those are amazing, IMHO. I'm going to hope that you guys are working on a better version of these and that in a few months we'll have some delicious M&M's to try.

Okay, yes, these are really expensive. I would not normally even consider putting out about $3.50 for a bag of M&Ms. However, I have been dairy free for 3 years and miss chocolate! Some of the competitors say they are dairy free, but they are made in a factory that manufactures items that include milk. My allergy is so sensitive, I can't have those products. So when I found No Whey, I was both excited and a little wary. I had been let down before. I have to say, these were both delicious, and completely safe for me to eat. They may not be something I purchase often, but definitely worth it for a rare treat.

The Choco NoNos are so yummy! The picture doesn't really give you a good indication of the size, but it's about the same size as a bag of M&Ms at the store. It's 1.63 oz (46g) per bag, is kosher parve, and it contains soy protein. The chocolates have a crunchy outer shell but it isn't colored brightly like the M&Ms since the shell is colored using natural colors (Fruit and vegetable juices) and nothing like yellow #5 or red 40. It's totally vegan and I love it. I used to get vegan chocolate Whizzers years ago but I think the company in the UK stopped importing to the US or the company went out of business. ..so if you've had the vegan Whizzers in the past, this is pretty close to it, and if you're looking for a vegan, dairy-free alternative to something similar to M&Ms this is it! I love it!

First let me say these are amazing for people who have severe allergies and can't have soy, dairy, gluten and other things BUT if dairy is your only issue there are much better chocolate options. These aren't bad, just not super good like I thought they would be. The colors are slightly off putting because they have a dull coloring to them BUT I know this is because it doesn't have artificial colors so I got over that. The flavor itself tastes a little closer to whoppers (the malt chocolate candy) than M&Ms or maybe it tastes like old M&Ms lol I'm not sure, but it just didn't taste like great chocolate to me. The chocolate coating is thicker than M&Ms but I didn't mind that at all, it was a similar texture to when M&Ms are cold from the fridge. I personally wouldn't buy these again, but for someone who can't eat any other chocolate on the market these would be wonderful. I will definitely eat all the ones I bought, just wouldn't buy them again.

As someone with a severe milk allergy, I love that I get to eat fun chocolate again thanks to brands like No Whey! The chocolate NoNo’s have a creamy texture and are sweeter than semisweet chocolate. The crunchy candy shell adds a nice texture and the price is reasonable for top 8 allergen-free candy. The only con is that the colors are a bit disappointing. They have a pale color that isn’t very exciting, but this is likely because it’s dye-free and made with natural coloring. Overall, I love this brand and would recommend to those with food allergies or special diets.

These NoNos Have been a life saver ,for my grandson, who has extreme Allergies to dairy and is Autistic, And craves Chocolate like his friends have . These taste so similar to smarties , I would highly recommend to others with similar issues , Keep them coming as weren’t able to buy them for a while! Brilliant Many Thanks Ruth

Purchased for my son so he could eat M&M's with his daddy on our movie night. He was so excited to try them and really enjoyed them. I tried one myself and have to say they are really good. If you have allergies like my son, daughter and I these are worth a purchase. I will most definitely be purchasing more.

FANTASTIC!! SO NICE TO BE ABLE TO FIND TREATS SUITABLE FOR MULTIPLE ALLERGIES INCLUDING NUTS/PEANUTS. MY DAUGHTERS WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO DAIRY, EGGS, COCONUT, AND NUTS /PEANUTS WERE THRILLED WITH THEIR CHOCOLATE! WELL DONE 'NO WHEY' FOR CONSIDERING PEOPLE WHO HAVE MEDICAL REASONS FOR AVOIDING FOODS NOT LIFESTYLE CHOICE. IT WOULD BE LOVELY IF THE BRITISH MARKET WOULD DO THE SAME.

Love these! Bought for my friends with allergies but they taste SO delicious, I would happily get them for myself if they were cheaper. Really lovely, delicious sweets.
