Long lasting, don’t rust and do what they are supposed to do.

I can see from my last purchase of these that they lasted one year in the elements before they rusted and needed to be replaced.After 6 months they will require a good squirt of oil or WD40.Indoors I'm sure they'd last forever.Good price and very strong (used to secure external gates)

Only needed these for garden gates. So they don't have to be very heavy duty as anyone determined to get in could climb over the walls. Nice and long, and 4-digit combination is simple to configure. Very good value in my opinion.

i purchased one of these about a year ago for my front gate to act as an additional security measure for my sons motorbike. a locked gate is always a deterrent!! however the numbers are now wearing off and not easy to read under limited street lights,So, i opted to buy this pack of two, one to replace the original and one as a spare.And frankly these are not as good as the original.Setting up a new combi number was easy but turning the four dials is very difficult, Someone with less than nimble fingers will NOT be able to turn these dials, they are incredibly stiff, even after spraying them with WD40 I, with my strong fingers, am finding them [the combi dials] difficult to twist/rotateThe black paint/coating looks like it will wear and breakdown very quickly quickly making it difficult to read the numbers in night lightingi get the impression these are either cheap Chinese knock offs or a new manufacturer has been employed to cut costs. either way they are not a patch on the original lock purchased a year agovery disappointed, if the dials would rotate readily it would not have bothered me so much!!

So far, so good. These fitted through 2 bolts of a garden shed and so far are working. I previously used a key padlock which was not only less handy but rusted quickly.

Started off ok - however 6 months in and its rusted inside enough that both of the locks are stuck on my sheds and I've had to get a bolt cutter to get in. Not weather proof at all - note I even sprayed WD40 inside these after the first month they started to stiffen up in an attempt to help them.

These padlocks are great quality, clear numbers & very easy to use. They are superior to the ones they are replacing. Good value & they arrived very quickly. Extremely happy with my purchase.
