OXO Good Grips 8-Piece Baking Essentials POP Storage Container Set

So far I find these containers to be sturdy and lids lock after pushing a button on it. I have purchased 2 sets within the last 2 weeks and I'm completely satisfied with my purchases. I store my dark chocolate,milk chocolate and white chocolate chips in the smaller containers and my sweeteners and different flours in the large containers. As I said I'm happy with them and would purchase other products from this company.

Wow! This product has been a true life saver! Before this past hurricane I had no pest problem what so ever. However, after all the flood waters receded I had a crazy migration of ants into my house. They were in EVERYTHING! I tossed all of my pantry items and scoured the internet for something that would permanently keep them out. I found these with raving reviews and ordered them on the spot. While I waited for them to arrive I called a pest control service and scheduled an appointment to have them come spray my house. These arrived and I placed my new sugars and spices into the containers. Unfortunately that night I had some ice cream and placed my bowl into a previously clean sink. I woke up to a massive influx of more ants! Our pest control guy wasn’t coming until the next day and I was in full panic mode. I couldn’t believe I was such an idiot. I swept everything and cleaned all my counters AGAIN but when I opened my cabinets I found that EVERYTHING in them was untouched! The ants didn’t even go near the cabinet. It was like they couldn’t smell the sugar whatsoever! These containers are a life saver. I am no longer worried about if we have flood waters again. They are incredibly easy to use. I can’t express enough my thanks to OXO for making such an amazing product.

The lids don't seal super tight, but the plastic is sturdy and the scoops are nice for cereals, sugar, and flour. The brown sugar container seems to work for keeping it from hardening as well.

I loved these canisters upon opening the shipping box. They came in excellent condition and will fit my needs perfectly. They are classic looking, airtight, and although they will go in my pantry, are nice looking enough to have on the counter. I prefer clean counters. I really like that the scoops attach to the bottom of the lids. The only problem occurred with the missing brown sugar saver, but a quick call to OXO solved the problem and they will ship that out to me tomorrow. I recommend this product.

I love these containers but the first set I received one of the large containers was broken. A replacement set was sent out free of charge and one of the large containers was cracked again! Amazon did issue a refund. The containers are great quality but they're getting damaged in warehouse or shipping so be sure to inspect yours.

Arrived undamaged, packed really well, by both OXO and Amazon. I had a lot of flour and it was filled to the brim in the large canister which does interfere with the sealing gasket. The brown sugar canister comes with a disk, that snaps to the button on the underside of the lid, to keep the brown sugar soft. It needs to be soaked in water for 20 minutes and air-dried [o work properly. I hand washed the canisters and lids before use. The lids come completely apart for wash and dry or water will get trapped under the rubber gasket, possibly causing mold.

Since it was my first time to buy containers like this, I liked that this set came with various sizes (since I didn't know what size I would use most). I have been using these for four months now, and here are my overall thoughts: - This product is easy to use. - I have noticed that they do keep dry goods, sugar, and snacks fresh - The 4.4 quart works great for cereal and dry oatmeal. This size DOES NOT stand up straight because I have shelving in my cabinets. I lay them down with no issues though. - The 0.4 quart size works well for opened snacks/candy (e.g. chocolate, nuts, sweets) - The 1.1 quart size is my favorite. - The product has held up and is "like new" even after multiple uses/washing Overall this brand is worth the price!

I'm big into baking, so I normally buy the 10lb bags of flour and sugar. I was expecting all of the containers to be bigger and was skeptical about how much they would hold. I bought this set in place of spending money on large cambro containers (like you would find in restaurants). -The 2 largest containers in the set can hold about 3/4 of the sugar and about 1/2 of the flour (again, 10lb bags). -The 1 small container holds a jar of instant coffee perfectly. This one is advertised for brown sugar, because of the 'sugar saver' it comes with (which you can buy at grocery stores now), but you would only get about a half bag in there if you use it for that. I already have a different size container (same brand/line) that fits 1 bag of brown sugar, and I just set the sugar saver in there. -The 2 extra small containers are sort of too small to hold anything for me. I'll find something, but haven't used them yet. -The extra little scoops that come in the set aren't really necessary for me, just more plastic in my opinion. It's a great idea that they lock onto the lids, but they also take away space to store food.

These containers are perfect for baking supplies such as flour, oatmeal and brown sugar. The two large containers with the scoops are perfect. The brown sugar container is smaller than I hope and doesn't quite fit a bag or brown sugar, but I still love it! The smaller containers were good for chocolate chips and pumpkin seeds. Everything comes apart so that you are able to clean it really well. They stack nicely and look great in my pantry! I will definitely be buying more of these!
