Leather Burnisher, 2 Style Blackwood Leather Craft Burnisher Kit Pointed Tip Leather Edge Slicker Polished Drill Leather Burnishing Tool

I bought these at the beginning of my leatherwork journey. I haven’t had any of the problems a few reviews mentioned, but it’s more just that I’m not actually sure they’re that useful.The idea is they save you time, but edge burnishing really doesn’t take that long - a few quick rubs for maybe 10 seconds - and trying to translate the pressure of a standard burnisher into the speed of these tools in a Dremel is a bit of a headache. I bought them thinking they’d save me time but in reality I finished the project with a regular burnisher as I just got frustrated (and the speed means they quite easily burn/black the leather if held a second too long).What they are good for however is using the points to burnish inside belt holes and stud slots.

It might work as a tool but as it arrived in a package too small to actually hold it. Both pieces were obviously broken.

when i started using it with a dremel drill, it got warm in use as it should, unfortunately, the glue attaching the shaft to the tool melted. fixed it since with epoxy. not a good start, what!

Not fit for purpose.

The shafts on both bits are misaligned, so they don't rotate smoothly at all.

Makes life easier when burnishing small projects

In verità ho acquistato con molta sfiducia, ne ho presi un po' ma sempre restituiti perché o rotti o mal centrati, questi invece appaiono perfetti, provati poco ma perfettamente centrati. Si potrebbe migliorare facendo l'asta di metallo 1 cm più corta in modo che possa essere tutta inserita nel trapano e così più difficile da piegarsi con la rotazione
