OK, so I have spent many a pretty penny on forks and at some points my wrists die, I get blisters on my palms, even though I'm wearing gloves, and without a doubt I bend a finger of the fork.This contraption may appear unnecessary and even a frivolous expense, however, it is not just a pretty face! It made digging my flower bed an absolute breeze and I did get less stones getting stuck in between the blades. This cut up the soil so nicely and the angle of the handle made it so much easier to dig. I'm impressed with the quality and hope to have this it for many years. I just think if you have to do a job, why not make it as easy as possible, and boy does it do just that!

Very good quality spade, the handle is comfortable & makes digging easy. Have a very large garden & a major project to be completed this summer. This spade has been thoroughly used. Perfect for digging the right size for root balls that needed planting. Very good value. Would definitely recommend.

Spade is excelent for my size and cuts into the soil easily, largely due to the double taper of the blade, short taper at the tip and the long taper of the main blade.The matching fork is crap and disintegrated on first encountering a bramble root.

Great spade, has helped me with digging in a new garden especially as I’m nearly 80 and arthritic hands. I’d like to have been a bit lighter but still a good tool.

I Love the handle and the pointed blade. Makes sense to have a pointed blade. Easy to use even with arthritic hands. Quite light to use. Overall recommendation

What a crock. Got this as said it was light and easier to dig with. I was unable to push it into the soil and it weighs more than me! I should have got a normal fork for a tenner instead of £60 on something I will never use. In future I will stop reading reviews as I am starting to think they are made up

I appreciated the sharp edge and chunky boot ledge to make slicing through soil quite easy. Unlike any other spade I've seen, however it os sturdy and performs really well and I like the bright red colour that would be easily seen after a hard digging session.A little on the large size for my 5ft 1inch frame, but my husband loves it.A bit pricey and worth it

I bought this because I have bent many forks over the years what with heavy clay soil and multiple tree roots in my garden. This fork looks strange, but the split tines seem to be effective in breaking up clods without clumps sticking to the fork. It is quite heavy to handle, but the balance is good. I just hope the ties between the tines also mean it won't bend easily - tine will no doubt tell!

I bought this product to be my adventure companion, I practice metal detecting, it's my main hobby.During the years I tried / used several products, many of them very high quality, but since I bought this one, the other shovels are getting rusty.

This is not only a shovel, this is also a serrated root cutter that you push on with your foot ! And that really gets the job done.It is sturdy enough for most things, be carefult though that you can't use it as a lever to rip a 1 foot diameter stub out of the ground. Use it to remove the earth around the roots, to cut through small ones until you get enough removed to be able to remove the whole thing.it is small enough to be used while leaning/squatting/sitting/kneeling around the problem area, but also long enough to use while standing up, weighting on it to saw a protruding root inside the soil. The handle is ergonomic and you won't get blisters on your hand even after a few hours shoveling the area.The weight is light enough, although I understand making it lighhter would have implied a reduction in its sturdiness, so that's ok.Overall, a good product, recommended.

Bin 83 und habe noch nie so leicht Grabearbeiten erledigen können. Der Spaten dringt durch Erde und Wurzeln, die ein normaler Spaten nicht durchdringt.
