Speedball Deluxe Soft Rubber Brayers

I wish I had gotten this roller sooner! The Speedball 6" brayer has been an absolute game‑changer for my crafting setup. I use it for rolling vinyl and iron‑on transfers onto the mat for my Cricut, and it gives everything such a smooth, even press. It also works perfectly for applying labels to packaging bags - way better than trying to smooth them out by hand. The roller feels solid, the rubber has just the right firmness, and it glides beautifully without sticking or dragging. It’s one of those tools you don’t realize you need until you finally get one, and then you wonder how you ever managed without it. If you do any kind of crafting, labeling, or transfer work, this brayer is absolutely worth it.

I would not recommend this for daily professional use, but I'm building a 10' x 20' shed and used this to run over all the ZIP tape that I applied to the ZIP sheathing and it held up nicely and is extremely smooth. My only gripes are that the handle is a bit small for someone with large hands like myself (I wear extra-large gloves) but still works fine for small projects. I see no sign of wear after rolling over 4 full rolls of ZIP tape. The roller itself has a nice compression that is not too soft and not too hard, making the tape seat well into the small dimples of the sheathing. If I were to improve this product, I'd make the handle bigger, provide an option to hang it on one's tool belt, and make it adaptable to a standard extension pole (like a broomstick). I'm giving it 5 stars because it does what it says it does, the quality is very good, and I should not expect more given the description. It just so happened to work for my needs rolling ZIP tape.

I needed this to help with the install of a tub surround that is glued to a false wall of the same material. It worked well. Super heavy duty. I’m sure it was made for the force put on it but it took it like a champ!

The rubber is resilient and not too hard, gathers and spreads the ink well (I'm doing woodblock prints) and though it does not come apart for cleaning, the elements are open and do not collect residual ink; I just use a cheap bristle brush and solvent to loosen the ink over a metal paint tray then wipe w paper towels. It has a sturdy construction, I'm satisfied with the quality.

I use this when setting up for wet mount scanning with a sheet of three micron film. Works amazing to get rid of dust. And to ensure that the film is flat against the glass. If you're scanning film, medium format or large format, and want to get rid of dust, great solution.

Best quality brayer I have found. Sturdy. Soft rubber coating. Rolls evenly. Quiet rolling. Easy to use and clean.

After using hard brayers for years this makes inking so much easier and quicker. This is perfect for all lino projects. It's a little small but still covers A4 work in no time. Good, sturdy product.
