These bulbs are perfect for the older candle lamp warmers. They give out plenty of light and they do melt the candle wax.

Not for a candle warmer.
Purchased this for a candle warmer to replace the old bulb that broke. The specs on this bulb are he same as the original, 25 wt with a G8 base, however it is brighter, BUT does not melt the wax candle. After 4 hours there was a silver dollar sized area that was starting to melt.

Only bulb that works on original candle warmers!
This is the only bulb that works on my original candle warmer. I have a newer version of the candle warmer and it does not work on that. The newer versions require a different bulb that is more accessible. I bought one in 2016 and just purchased another one, so it’s lasted me more than 3 years.

My candle warmer had sat, unused, in the corner for many months and is now prominently back in place providing wonderful scents for my home. Why did I procrastinate? I'll be ordering more of these just to have some on stock since my warmer is an older model and I fear not being able to find this bulb a few years in the future!
