As of 9/19/2015 Web Site and Kit are Top Knotch!
This is a high quality set for a rock bottom price. All of the projects are documented wonderfully! Osoyoo's website is the best lay out of any I have seen yet! Very well organized and has all the information in one place. There were a few typos, and the sketch for testing the display will not load unless the screen power line is unplugged. Since the display screen draws under 25 mA, I connected the power wire to the D8 pin and add two lines of code to turn the display on after the program runs. pinMode(8,OUTPUT); digitalWrite(8,HIGH); Just put these two lines before the line that initializes the display screen. The price has gone up a lot in the last few weeks. I bought my kit for under $18.00 and now the same kit is over $28.00 which is still a great price. If you have children older than 5th grade, you need to get them one of these sets. You should work with them to do each of the many projects so you can learn and enjoy this excellent introduction to programming microcontrollers!

Lots of fun, great value.
I've had so much fun playing with this set. The first thing I did was take an inventory, and everything was there, in clearly labeled packaging. The instructions on the website for the various projects pretty much consisted of a .ino file (compatible with the Arduino IDE) and a picture of the setup. You won't learn anything that way. Look for tutorials on YouTube and Google (I found TopTechBoy's website particularly helpful) and learn how to make stuff for yourself. So the bad: after about a week, I was suddenly unable to upload to the board. I emailed customer support and got a response right away. They're sending me a new one, so hopefully the first was just a fluke. At $26 for everything in the kit, it'll still be worth it if I have to separately get a real Arduino Uno.

Great for picking up all of the basics you need to be running Arduino projects
This is a great kit if you don't have a stock of parts at your disposal. So far everything has worked as it should, and there are a good supply of most of the things you need for a simple Arduino project. I've been using this board for the last couple of weeks running an automated plant watering system, and other than the build quality of the board being a little shabby (inputs not being lined up perfectly or slightly crooked, etc), I've run into no issues. This kit is worth it for the board and 16x2 LCD screen alone.

Excellent Starter Kit!
Excellent Starter Kit! Has enough to get me up and running with the labs we're working on in my Robotics class! I also bought the CuteDigi Starter Kit for Arduino A for some additional accessories! All in all I'm impressed for the price! If you're looking for tutorials or projects I'd recommend checking out SparkFun's website. We follow some of the projects available on there for my class!

Solid starter kit to learn the basics
Good starter pack to learn Arduino basics with. A good mix of items to play around with, only gripe was with THE LCD screen having male connections by default, as connecting it to the breadboard was just a little troublesome/finnicky.

The UNO R3 works fine. I have not yet tested the other parts
The UNO R3 works fine. I have not yet tested the other parts. The parts were largely sorted into groups of labeled ziplock bags - nice. However, the parts came in a box - literally a cardboard box with a printed wrapper. Many similar Arduino project kits come packaged in a re-usable plastic box with dividers or compartments. To be fair, the product description and photos do not show a plastic box - so "my bad" for expecting one.

Great starter kit to leart how to use an UNO Board
This is a great starter kit for the price, I have had this for a few months now and everything is still working great. The board is a very well made board. In fact, the soldering of the parts on the board are top notch! You cant go wrong with this starter kit! Also make sure to look at there website for fun Ideas to build things with kit!

Very educational kit for beginners to intermediate experimenters
This kit has a good selection of parts of decent quality to learn how to use an Arduino processor with a variety of other common components. Probably best if one has some very basic electronics knowledge before starting, but one can pick that up quite easily. I learned enough that I was able to build a carbon dioxide meter that worked quite well, though, of course, I had to buy a carbon dioxide sensor component since none is included in the kit (about $60). The vendor is very helpful and answered some questions I sent by email. He also offered his phone number if I had additional questions. For me, I think the most difficult thing was to read the codes on the resisters that tell you how many ohms they have. However, in the kit, they were labeled and one also can look up on the Internet how to read the resister codes -- there are two different systems.

Delighted - High Quality Components, Superb Value for Money
Thoroughly delighted with my kit and is very good value. If you are wanting to get into hobby electronics using the Arduino platform then you can't go wrong with this as a stater kit.I was originally just looking for a remote control for the Arduino but came across this kit and couldn't resist given the amount of useful components such as the more commonly used (in Arduino projects) resistors, capacitors, variable switches, buttons etc and you get a original Arduino Uno R3 (not a copy). To get all of this in somewhere like Maplin in the UK or Radio Shack you would be paying easily three times the price. In Maplin the Arduino alone is £24.99 so everything in this kit including the Uno for £20 is an absolute bargain!Everything came in a small box and each component or set of components came in their own separate little anti static bag. Every bag is well labelled and the strips of resistors even have their value written on them which is handy.I deliberately ran higher than rated current through several of the components to do a sort of quality test and the ones picked at random all survived the test so they are good quality and not some of the cheap and nasty ones that can be found on-line.I really can't say a bad thing about this kit wherever you are just starting out or like me have been using Arduinos for years this kit is really a no brainer... think I might actually buy another! You can never have enough Arduinos or components:)

Great value
This is a great starter kit if like me you are new to Arduino. All items arrived individually packed and labelled. All LEDs are clear glass and show the correct colour when power applied, (I have only used coloured glass ones previously). I am working my way through the example sketches provided on the Arduino web site. Excellent product and well thought out selection of components for the beginner like me to progress quickly.

Very good value for the price
Surprisingly Good product for the price and a great added bonus it comes with the board. Whilst I would highly recommend purchasing the official Genuine board (also on Amazon for around £20), this is a great kit for components (even though the USB cable is far too small for use anywhere) and comes with some Arduino essentials and the added 74HC595 shift register was a appreciated bonus.
