It arrived with the battery charged. I haven't tried it yet but I like the size and feel of the unit. It should be easy to work with for detailing.

I have been using it for a few months. It has worked very well, but I should reiterate that it is just for VERY SMALL AND LIGHT JOBS. I like that it is compatible with attachments that you can get on any hardware store. I have not have any problems with the battery charge, and charges reasonably fast. It is an affordable little piece of tool.

This is a very nice, easy-to-hold rotary tool. I have a full-scale, plug-in Dremel, but it's always tucked away in it's case with it's millions of attachments somewhere in the garage. By the time I dig it out, drag it all into my inside workbench, connect everything and find the right attachment I've killed 30 minutes. Great if you're launching into a big project, heavy-duty cutting/polishing or highly specialized application; not so great if you just wanted to widen that hole in the little plastic box you're working on or maybe stretch a opening in a PC board, etc. I wanted something I could keep in the desk, charge occasionally and use as needed, when needed. This tool filled the bill! Now, it is NOT a heavy-duty grinder, neither will it run all day without dragging, BUT that's not what it's advertised to do. It fits the hand nicely, has adequate power for it's size and battery rating and seems to stay at least somewhat charged for a decent amount of time. When it get's weak, you can plug it into a USB power supply and in fairly short order, do some light grinding, drilling, polishing or cutting. It will bind-up on the slower speed if you're not careful but that is not normally a problem for light-weight projects and selecting one of the higher speeds adds more power. There are three selectable speeds, it is not continuously variable - but I really like it. Meets the needs perfectly and seems well-built. Nice little selection of attachments come with!

Fantastic little tool for grinding my Dachshunds' and a bully mutts' nails, especially if you're on the go!
