Ibanez IJXB150B Jumpstart Bass Package Red

This is my first bass guitar, so do not expect me to have an ear out for anything a more experienced musician would notice. Straight out of the box, everything worked and I saw no issues. Within 5 minutes of getting home and seeing my bass had arrived I was tuning with the very user friendly tuner and ready to start playing.I have now been practicing for about two weeks and can say for sure this is a fantastic purchase for anyone wanting a beginner's kit. There are just enough accessories to get started, but not enough to get confused. I would not recommend using the included amp for any gigs, however it is great for fooling around, practicing, and would be fine in a jam session or during lessons. Everythng included is useful and has kept me encouraged to practice daily. My only complaints are a couple very minor defects in the finish around the hardware on the body and a bit of rattling in the head. Both could be fixed easily, and in fact I was already planning to paint the body, so I'll find whatever is loose in the head when I take it off.

This is my review for the, Ibanez IJXB150B Jumpstart Bass Package. This little bass package is amazing. First, the bass: The bass is just dead simple, it sounds great, and it's a lot of fun, to play. Another nice thing about the bass, is that, it doesn't have a very long scale ( that's the length of the guitar ). So, it makes it easier, to play and it's not, too heavy, so it doesn't weigh me down when I strap it on. I mean, after playing those long and heavy basses, over the years, this bass is, a welcome. Now, the amp: This little guy packs a big punch. Not only does it pack a punch, but, it's easy and dead simple, to use. So, I'm real happy, with it.

Just learning how to play bass so this is my first guitar. Everything came as ordered. Box was beat up a little bit in shipping but everything inside was fine. Guitar looks great and was easy to tune and play. I ordered the Rocksmith software with it and have had a lot of fun learning how to play various songs with my 12-year old son.

Bought this for my kid. Have had to listen to it since Christmas. He loves it!

Great guitar for the price! The amp is quite small but, I knew that when I bought it.

Nice starter kit!!!! Did have trouble with the patch cord working properly and not shorting out. We purchased another to replace.

Bought this for my husband and he plays it every night (learning) and absolutely loves it. It's his zen and a great stress reliever. The bass is nice quality and the amp has great sound.

the bass is great and everything i used to own the same bass few year ago . the only thing i have to said the Bass Amp Electronic is no that great
