This begins right after the climax of Savage Prince.He is an enigma...a hot, intense, secretive, dirty, and dominant man of mystery. And all of a sudden he is more involved in her life that is spinning out of control, and she has no clue what to believe, who to trust, and what to do.Temperance Ransom is not sure she can trust him, but her choices are limited and he is sent to help her by someone she trusts. She's tough, tenacious, sassy, and smart. She is not afraid to get in the middle of things. And she is also not afraid to push and challenge him.There is a thin line between anger, lust, love, and hate. They each can really see below the surface of the other person more than most people do. Their pasts have not been easy or normal. Their present lives don't exactly mesh. His character is questionable. She usually cares about being presentable and putting on a put-together facade. In his line of work it is better to be a ghost. But together they are explosive. They have power exchanges, complimentary needs, and a whole lot of chemistry. They are both alpha-like, strong-willed, stubborn, and have some self worth issues. They have walls around their hearts, secrets, and danger surrounding them, and a seemingly impossible mission.Will they just be short lived comfort while doing a job or long term loves?This gives us so many answers that I wanted about Savage Prince. But then it adds more twists, surprises, and a-ha moments. I was thoroughly captivated by these two as we got to know more about them and see them connect more. I totally fell for the hero(anti-hero) as his layers were peeled back. Sure he has a reputation and his skills are a bit deadly, but I liked his personality, protectiveness, possessiveness, and heart. And Temperance is such a good feisty compatible match for him.This is a stand-alone series but I enjoyed more with Mount, Keira, and Magnolia from the Mount trilogy. I loved this dark, gritty side of NOLA and the intensity and dichotomy of the characters. No one is truly perfect--some more bad than good, but most have redeemable qualities. Even dangerous men respond to love too. But the question is can they hold onto it and keep the one they care about safe?And as expected with a second book in a known trilogy this one definitely leaves you gasping and wanting more as soon as possible. But I actually loved this installment even more than the first one because it let me really connect with the characters and got me so invested in their story. This is intriguing, suspenseful, emotional, sexy, and even humorous at times. It packs a lot in and the characters have growth opportunities, but it also leaves you wondering about some things and wanting to know how it will all turn out. I cannot wait for the last book of this captivating series.

Well, okay then. What a ride this book was!! So, after everyone and their brother has been trying to guess who Temperance's sexy stranger is, we finally get the answer!! And after the cliffhanger ending of Savage Prince that left us all saying, WTF??? I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen between Temperance and her man.This book has so much depth to it. We learn a lot of background on....Sexy Stranger. I'm not going to say his name because that would ruin it for all those people who've been guessing who he is. But we find out what his area of expertise is, and I'm not talking about in the bedroom. Tempe finds out too, and struggles with a crisis of conscience. But it is her new friend Yve who puts it all into perspective for her:"Is he a good man? He hit you? Talk down to you? Make you feel stupid? ...Is he inconsiderate? A liar? An a$$hole? Mean to kids and dogs? ...Would he hide a body for you? ...Would he cover your a$$ no matter what?"And yes, Sexy Stranger would put it all on the line for Tempe, as he comes to discover. And Tempe comes to discover that as strong and independent as she is, she wants, and needs this man to be an integral part of her life. I loved how Meghan seamlessly intertwined the emotional aspect of these two people's relationship with all of the drama and action and suspense that takes place in the book. There is still no sign of Tempe's brother Rafe, and as these two race against time to try and find him, our Sexy Stranger sees a whole new side to Tempe and he realizes he doesn't want to spend another day without her by his side.The sexy times between these two is off the charts!! Their sexual chemistry is scorching, and Tempe's boundaries are explored in detail. But it isn't just the sexy times that make this couple, they quickly come to realize they want to be together all the time, not just in the bedroom. And the things that Tempe's man does for her shows her just what a good man he is, regardless of what he does for a living. He is definite book boyfriend material!! But he still has a job to do, one that could end up having devastating consequences for Temperance.As is typical Meghan, she throws plenty of curve balls at this couple, and the twists and turns ramp up the suspense, the drama, the intrigue, right until the last page!! And the queen of cliffhangers hits us with another doozy!! Not cool, Meghan!! Not cool!The cast of characters from book 1 are still along for the ride, along with a few new ones that I would be perfectly happy with finding their way straight into the swamp! Hopefully they will in Rogue Royalty. The anticipation and waiting for book 3 is already killing me!! Kudos, Meghan, you have once again succeeded at blowing me away with another incredible story!

Oh my goodness me what a story this is turning into . As expected the reason why Temperance’s brother Rafe has gone to ground is because he took a job that pricked his conscious and now is in fear for his life , inadvertently he’s dragged Temperance into it as well so her life is also on the line . One good thing at least Temperance now knows who her mystery lover is he goes by the name of Saxon his real name is Kane we also get his back story and how he became a hit man . It will come as no surprise that he and Rafe have worked for Lachlan Mount doing various jobs , but now the people that Rafe has crossed want their pound of flesh and were looking for someone to do the job . As Temperance works for Keira she’s also under Mount’s protection as she needs protecting Saxon / Kane steps in to do it but strangely enough he has also taken on the unenviable job of killing Rafe . As with all these stories the plot lines are very complicated with a lot going on in them of course the sex is off the charts between Temperance and Kane but there’s a lot of humorous dialogue throughout as well especially with the events of the Speed Dating night. I was expecting the cliffhanger ending but it caught me completely off guard and had me actually saying out aloud “What the f***k “ 😱😱😱( thank goodness I was on my own at the time ) 😳I’ve no idea how this is going to end but one things certain I can’t wait to find out ❤️

Good grief, what a finish to book two. Didn’t see that coming the way it did. We start at the end of the first book. Saxon, AK, Kane is so alpha male, protective of his prize, and falling. Temperance is one strong willed lady who yes has been dealt a crap hand in life, but again is falling for Kane. This episode, is humourus, romantic, emotional, intriguing, and so descriptive, makes your mouth water. I hate Rafe, for jeopardising Temperance so. However fate plays a tune that is both load and sudden. Mount makes several appearances, as does the mention of Keira. Great storyline, as ever by a fantastic author. Not long till next instalment thank goodness . I’m battling for these two to have a HEA.

Loved the first book and was left on a cliffhanger so purchase the second, shocked to find out that my 5 pounds purchase was a book that was read in 30 minutes I won’t be making the same mistake by buying the third book in the series, even though I have no idea how the story ends! looking at page numbers it’s about the same amount. I don’t understand why authors who write a standard length book then split it into three and then charge £5 per book why not make it just one book? In theory this one Book cost £15 I’m sorry but I’m not prepared to pay that when there are some absolutely brilliant authors out there that charge £2 to £3 for a full book really disappointed in this, WON’T fall for that again, will check page numbers. £10 down the drain.

I know I gushed and fangirled while reviewing Savage Prince, so I am sure, it will come as no surprise that there will be more fangirling with book two. Iron Princess picks up right where Savage Prince left off. I loved Temperance in book one and that love just keeps growing here. Her mystery man is even more sexy and dangerous and I love him even more as well. The non-stop action continues along with all the suspense, twists and sexiness we felt before. All those burning questions from book one? We get answers, but of course twists and turns leave us with new questions and the cliffhanger at the end of this book has me more desperate for book three than I was for book two. March has seriously become my favorite author this year. She has some kind of writing magical spell that I simply cannot quit. This trilogy is giving me all of the feels in the most delicious way. I’ll be joking for my next fix, until book three lands on my kindle. I can’t recommend this trilogy enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed book 2 in the trilogy and the ending!! I have to say I was glad to know that there was a third and final book to complete the series because being left not knowing what happened or not being able to read on into the concluding chapter would have driven me mad I think. I think the writing in these books is a good as I have ever read, I think the characters are realistic if a little over the top occasionally but its fantasy fiction so that's OK, the storylines are good and well written so they keep the reader engaged and wanting to read on. There are plenty of twists and turns to maintain interest and keep the reader guessing. Some sections are a little racy but that's not a bad thing either its meant for adults! Nothing worse than an impassionate love scene!
