Bell Qualifier Saved My Face.
I purchased this helmet last year. Last week I crashed going about 40-45 mph and landed head first onto the street. This helmet saved my face and possibly my life. I highly recommend.

It's very comfortable and a great deal for the price
About 2 weeks ago, I crashed into a moose going 55 mph, got thrown off my bike and hit my head on the asphalt. This helmet saved me from serious injury or death. It's very comfortable and a great deal for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Protects Your Dome
The only problem I had with this helmet was some of the padding near the chin would occasionally pop out due to poor quality snaps. Otherwise, this is exactly what you want in a helmet: it protects your head very well (see photos - graphics added to black helmet). The fact I'm able to write this review after landing on my head in a high-side crash tells you everything you need to know. The helmet works.Fit was excellent - snug on me but I like them that way. I have a longer head/face shape and Bell's helmets fit me very well.

Great helmet for the price!
I've lost count on how many helmets I've bought/tried on over the last few years trying to find that elusive "perfect" fit. So far the Bell Qualifier fits best (I have a big head that is apparently longer than "intermediate" oval but wider than "narrow" oval; makes finding good fit very difficult). Most of my other helmets have been HJC because I found that they fit pretty good but far from perfect; so far the Bell Qualifier outperforms HJC in fitment. Initially I thought that the visor on the Bell was going to be a problem staying "cracked" with high wind, but on my cruiser it is great up to over 50 mph (stays "cracked") but on my FJR it won't stay open over about 35, but I think that's because the windshield at it's lowest is directing a focused blast of wind right at the visor, so no complaint on the visor. The top vents are ok, they blast a lot of wind if you turn your head slightly but not so much looking straight ahead; the chin vent is about as good as any other helmet I own (mid-priced or budget); I'm sure some of the higher end helmets have way better air flow. I've tried on many Arai and Shoei helmets but I can't find one that fits right, and at over $500 for those there's no way I'm buying one unless the fit is absolutely perfect. So for now, the Bell Qualifier is my go to helmet!! Now I'm going to try a Bell modular to see if I can replace my HJC modular :)

The helmet comes with a CLEAR visor...
Know that! The helmet comes with a CLEAR visor! This can be a very important point to consider, since an alternate Bell visor ( dark or self-darkening) could add another 40%-125% to the final cost.Other than that the helmet is really great!Disclaimer: I'm at the point where "self-justification" is necessary to purchase any more biking gear (got lots!), so this purchase got started with me looking for a lightweight, carbon-fiber helmet...still don't have one of those. (sic)Although this helmet does NOT contain any carbon-fiber, it is actually lighter than the carbon-fiber helmets I was looking at.Manufacturers are also now starting to make different (helmet) Outer-Shell sizes based on head size, as well as different head shapes. These factors really help with a helmet fitting comfortably without looking like the "Great Kazoo" (Flintstones). There was only one (pressure) spot on my left-upper forehead that was feeling discomfort, upon inspection I discovered it was one of the plastic snaps that holds the removable internal (cloth) liner in-place, so I applied (hard) finger-pressure to that point to push the snap further into the inner-shell foam. Issue solved. The helmet also has great ventilation, with the top vents open it appears you could pass/drop a pencil straight-thru the opening! While riding you can turn your head in a certain direction & actually feel the wind hitting your head!!The helmet is also very quiet, even with the vents open.Compared to my Bilt full-face helmet the Bell has a slightly larger viewing area, giving the rider about an extra 1/2" of peripheral-vision on each side which really helps at higher speeds & heavy traffic. It is also very aerodynamic as I don't feel any buffering at high speed. It has ear-pockets for speakers if you roll like that.Visor mechanism has multi-click position feature & quick visor-change method. The stock visor provides a very clear view and only fogs slightly when first starting-out on the daily ride.It should be noted that in the "fine print" (instructions) for cleaning the visor, which seems a bit unrealistic in my "real" world, as it suggests running clear water over the visor & dabbing it dry, stating that "wiping" the visor may actually cause visual-impairing smearing of the anti-fog coating. Not sure how long that coating is going to last.A name-brand helmet, that's light (3.28 lbs.), great shape (sm/med/lrg), comfortable, quiet, good ventilation, removable liner, improved visibility (both ways), all the safety certifications and for about a $100!!Gotta love it!!Now...is it worth doubling+ the cost by springing for the self-darkening visor upgrade?!Keep it in the wind.~B

Quality skid lid
My wife has always loved riding on the back of my bikes. We’ve been together for over 30 years and it’s just one of the many pleasures we share. But because I had been riding a pretty custom dyna, which is a pretty miserable ride from the rear, she had not been doing it much anymore. But this year I finally broke down and bought a bagger. I guess I’m old enough now at 55. lol.She has been with me every chance she gets. And I love it! But I didn’t have a good quality, comfortable helmet just for her. She had been wearing my Harley skid lid and I knew she really wanted a full face. Well recently we were going away for a few days to Block Island, R.I., and we were taking the bike. Mostly back roads but a little highway and it was time to get her her own helmet anyways. So we went to the local Harley stealership and she tried some on so we knew pretty much what she liked. And then I came here.Got this one in the pink and stealth camo. She loves it. Fits perfectly. She loves the little vents on the top and the way the visor can be infinitely adjusted to stay open part way. It’s a nice snug fit without being claustrophobic. Not too hot. I know she feels much, much more safe with the full face.On our first ride after she got it, she dropped it on the ground and the visor popped off. I thought she was gonna cry. I laughed and showed her it just pops right back in. Didn’t even scratch the helmet. Listen, I’ve been riding bikes for over 40 years. I trust Bell. I wouldn’t trust my wife’s head to just anyone. She is happy. And she is my life. So I’m happy.Nice helmet.I highly recommendThanks for reading ( I know, I’m really long winded) sorry

Not same product as shown in the picture
I bought this helmet because it was all back plus the visor was back on the picture but wen I got the helmet that came with clear visor and I send a message to the seller he never got back to me. So it not worth it.

Very good purchase
No complaints here. The helmet made it with a very quick shipment time, although with the new community boxes, the mail man was unable to fit it in the large compartments, so he left a receipt on the door, and we had to pick it up the next day.Package is very neat, and the hemlet comes in a protective red (beautiful) bag, to avoid scratches. The fit is good, not affecting visibility.Note that the helmet comes with a transparent visor, unlike the darker visor shown in some of the pictures.

I love mine
Absolutely love mine, helmet is exactly like picture, my head is small.. (Kid sunglasses fit my head) I got small because I didn't want to risk it being to tight, it fits and I may have even been able to order the XS but I still love it!
