I like urethane much better than rubber for these engines. This was no different, especially since some may have to manhandle the intake to get risers bolted together. Nice job, EMPI.

Dual port, one piece intake boots for vw beetle.
These are one piece original style that requires intake removal. They are well made and look to be of very good quality, the kit comes with the boots and the gaskets to install the intake to the motor.. As I am not yet ready to take the motor apart I opted to order the split boot as it was easier and faster to install. I will probably install these later during other mechanical work.
