Auntie D. is in her eighties but she swims laps three times a week and was getting tired of thick silicone caps that pulled out her hair and squeezed her head into a migraine, but still let water in around the edges. This cap is different. It makes no pretense at keeping your hair dry; it simply keeps it off your face and (according to the pool manager, reduces clogging of the drains). Pulling it on was easy, tucking in my shoulder-length hair was easier -- the cap itself is not particularly elastic but there's a nice stretchy edge. The cap is quite sheer: It was a bit shocking to feel my head get cold and wet the first time I ducked it underwater, but after that the cap felt quite comfy. It stayed on but didn't squeeze. It's shaped to cover your ears fairly well (be sure to put it on with the logo to the left). And when I pulled it off post-swim it didn't take half my hair with it, as thick silicone caps do. The fabric is thin and I have a feeling it's not going to be very durable, but for now it's fine.

I love this swim cap! It doesn't slide around or move while swimming. It also doesn't squeeze your head or pull your hair. I have long hair, shoulder blade length, and it fits all in the cap. Easy to put on and take off.

This is a quality made cap and love the color choices. It is ideal for those with thick, long hair or larger heads since this is a one size unisex cap. I am female & have medium length fine hair and I swim every day . The chlorine in the pool also breaks down fabric and tends to make swimsuits and this cap stretch out. These caps fit me okay when thy are new but because of my smaller head, fine hair & combined with the chlorine breakdown unfortunately don't last. I had to throw away a perfectly good cap yesterday because it had stretched out. So if you have a smaller head and shorter, thinner hair, this may not work for you. I wish it came in two sizes for men and women, because most mens heads are larger.

This swim cap is great! It doesn’t rip hair out at all and fits over my bun well. Multiple people have tried my cap, some with thicker/more hair than me and it fits over their hair and stays on them as well. Great product!It’s not meant to keep hair dry, but it does keep my hair in one place and keeps it from getting knotted.

This cap doesn’t pull out my hair

Loved the fit and comfort and stays in great shape. Not meant to be water resistant so didn't really want to enter a rate for that. Love it so much I have purchased a few but disappointed that over 3 or 4 months of swimming 3 times a weak my red cap looks very pale orangish pink. Still wearing it though.

I purchased this to provide for UV while I lap swim about 1 mile. This swim cap is easy to put on and is snug to the fit. Please keep in mind that because of the material that this cap is made out of it is NOT, water resistant. So if you need a cap to keep your hair dry this is not for you. This cap is a very good UV cap and really protects that bald scalp on me. I truly like this hat! While I would never think I would ever be needing something like this it does happen when you don't have any thing growing on the top of your head. UV can cause some bad problems on bare skin so it is good to keep that in mind. I like this shade of blue and it really stands out. They also have other colors as well. The material that this is made from has just enough give to give you a really good fit.One problem that I have noticed is when or if you use a mask, like a snorkel type you need to make sure that the cap is not under the mask as it will leak very fast. So just ensure that the cap is free from the base areas of the mask. You will have a great swim if you do that.I would highly recommend this cap for any one that is considering using a cap that is for UV protection and not for keeping your hair dry. I have problems wearing regular silicone caps, as they sometimes irritate my ears. This fits well, is soft over my ears and comfortable. Just beware the first time you go in the water, wow! your head is cold for a few minutes but warms up after a lap or two. I don't know how durable/lasting it will be but for the comfort, I will buy it again when I need one.
