This is a steal for the money ,works as described red dot is very visible. Used it on my M&P40 and shot 50 out of 50 for my CCP certification. Best in class!! Very durable and well made. Mounting was easy just followed directions. Have put 500 rounds through the gun and Sight is still Zeroed.

This sight is a hunk of junk! You might be able to get it on our pistol, but it will never work. I spend quite a bit of time making sure this was the correct one before I bought it due to other negative reviews, and I took it to a gun smith to make sure it was installed correctly.No luck what so ever. Very angry due to the cost and wasted time. Don't buy this dot sight you will be sorry!

I am overall pleased with this sight. I was looking for an affordable red dot for my every day carry pistol. Unfortunately this was not what I was looking for. You have to manually turn on the red dot, which takes about 2 seconds. This is not ideal in a self defense situation. I will probably be spending much more on a sight that is motion activated.As for the sight itself, it is still a great deal. If you are looking for something for target shooting, maybe even competition shooting, this is a great value. The sight seems very well built and is very sturdy. The install was very easy. I spent more time removing my stock rear sight. The red dot is nice and crisp, no blurriness. I put 100 rounds through and it held on very well without lock tight or anything (I would still recommend lock tight once you decide to keep it on your pistol). I read many reviews that mentioned the screws being too short. The company must have heard the complaints and improved. Mine came with a set of short screws and long screws. I used the long ones with no issues.Overall, it did not suit my intended purpose, but I have put it on my 1911 which I do not use for self defense and more so just target shooting and fundamentals training. I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable red dot for their pistol at a great price.

Just got this little sight in and install on a Shield. Let me tell you I am very impressed. The sight was very easy to see and held zero well. For the price I was not expecting anything to spectacular but man I was wrong. I used it for several hours and this little guy just kept going. The mounting plate went on easy and had a good fit. As far as battery life goes I can't speak to yet but will update in the future. Great sight for a great price!

This looks impressive when opening the box, but it was disappointing. The sight came with all the necessary hardware to mount to a compact black handheld device that expels metal pieces which are less than 10 millimeters, but larger than 8 millimeters in size.One long press of the UP or DOWN button brings it to life. Having separate buttons to raise or lower the intensity is a plus; eliminating the need to cycle through the range of intensities.Using the provided Docter mount specifically for my particular launcher, this sits pointing up. I had to drop the dot almost all the way to the bottom limit to get items on the intended point. My previous review with a picture of this mounted on a black handheld device was rejected by Amazon, so I can’t show how this sits when mounted. Again, this came with a mount specifically made for my particular black handheld device.My biggest complaint is that acquiring the red dot to put on a point at a distance away from my launching device, was very difficult. I initially thought it was my vision causing this problem. I found I was having to wave the handheld device around until I found the red dot, and then finally locating my intended point at a distance away from me. I replaced this with a Burris FastFire III and a Primary Arms SLX RS-10, and had no issues finding the dot with those two sights.This definitely is not worth the purchase. I recommend spending some additional dollar$ and getting a good quality red dot for a black handheld device.Note: Carefully worded to avoid violating Amazon's community guidelines, so I won't mention the black handheld device this is mounted on and have replaced my photo with a generic photo.

Looks good and sturdy. Just a heads up I have an M&p shield 2.0 compact 9mm without the picatinny mount. Man it was tough getting my sights off had to buy a sight tool. So keep in mind it takes a lot of effort to pull off. Once its off you slide in the little f2 plate that goes im the grove, then the little plate and cushion then the sights. Pretty easy once its off. Prepare yourself and learn how to take off the sights of you have the same gun as I. You need to push from left to right.

This ade red dot has Nice clear, sharp dot, and fit perfect on my m&p. I should have bought another one of thses but tried a cyelee instead amd go figure i got one that doesn't work. Bummer. Im looking forward to try ade's new shake awake pistol red dot.
