Silicone Soap Mold, GLOSSY Basic Rectangle 1601

This mold works well. I used it for three different cold process soap formulations, one batch was composed of a high amount of soft oils, and every bar comes out of this mold within 24hrs without a problem. I did not oil/grease the mold, or place it in the freezer, or any other method - just room temperature and the bars come right out. Also, when I say cold process soap, I mean from scratch (oils & lye) - no melt and pour. And, the bars are big so expect a handful! Maybe, two hands! Ha ha!For now, I give this product 4 Stars because I want to see how it holds up. But, please know, this mold is working as expected so far. In fact, I am considering purchasing another silicone mold but with more cavities. I would like a larger mold for a dozen or so bars in this same shape/size.In addition, I like the individual bar cavities as opposed to the loaf style mold for a few reasons. One, the bars are smaller so they harden faster, two, I don't have to cut the individual bars like a loaf mold requires, and three, I find the bars are less likely to go through the gel phase minus adding additional ingredients or creating additional processing like placing in the freezer or what-have-you. I don't like the idea of adding extra or unwanted ingredients plus extra work isn't desirable, either.Last, I wash this mold by hand, and it seems to clean-up easily. Oh, and I do place the mold on a tray/sheet prior to pouring my soap so I can move the mold easier after I pour.

I used this to make a resin soapdish. It is a nice size and realeased easily. I have only used it once but it seems like it will hold up well.

This mold is pretty sturdy and gives your soap a nice look to it. I would recommend if you are doing cold process method to put some sodium lactate in if your soap is generally soft or try to force the soap into gel phase because if it doesn't gel it's going to be hard to get out. There's nothing more annoying than a beautiful soap with jagged/messed up corners! With melt and pour soap the mold works fine. No problems otherwise. Good normal bar size soap. Great for trying out fragrances or mica colorants.

I love this mold b/c it is closer to the same size as regular bars. Other molds I've wasted money on are not as deep and are made from flimsy plastic. This is a flexible rubber so soaps are easily popped out when done and it appears it will last a long time. I also got the oval shape, which was also a big size.

I would totally recommend this product if you make small batches of soaps. I would love it even lore if it would come with 6 molds, but its perfect any ways. It would make 5oz soaps.l, and its very easy to unmold. Loved it... thinking of getting one more soon.

Love these molds. The only problem I have with them is they hold the scent making it hard to use for any other fragrance. Same with any silicone mold I suppose.
