Hollow spaced soles
ONLY 4 months, sole worn down to 1/4 inch exposing hollow spaces inside!DO NOT RECOMMENDIt usually takes me 2 to 3 years to grind boots through a solid sole

Good Low Use Boots
These Boots were reasonably priced and you get your money's worth with nothing else. I work in the office of a construction compny and wear these to work just in case I have to go to a site. They wear quickly just around the office but they are very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend for SERIOUS use. they wouldn't last too long. But for everyday wear with typical use you can get the BOOT look thats wears comfortably. But don't purchase for work boots.

Sizing
Good look. Just a bit small. Sizing is accurate. One size smaller than normal. So those at half sizes choose a little smaller or a little larger.

Seam came apart on side of boot
I bought these for my 17 year old son for a Christmas present. By January 18th, the seam came apart on the top side of the boot. He didn't rip them or hang them on anything. They looked like new boots with a 1 inch rip in the seam. So I'm going to take to a shoe repair place and see if they can repair them. Other than that, he said they are really comfortable.

Rothco's sizing of boots is really messed up.
I am normally a size 10.5. Based on Rothco instructions to order two sizes smaller than normal due to boots designed for two pair of wool socks, I ordered a pair of Rothco infantry desert boots 2 sizes under normal shoe size, and teh boots were a tad too small with one pair of cotton socks on. I reordered a size 10 which arrived before I returned the size 9, but the size 10 looked small so I held the size 9 and size 10 bottom to bottom and surprise, the size 10 was a quarter of an inch shorter than the size 9, bummer, way too tight. I reordered a size 11 which arrived today, tried it on and in bare feet, my toes touch both the heel cup and the interior of the front of the boot, still too small. What gives with this crazy issue, I am really exhausted ordering and returning the boots, and the wildly inconsistent and incorrect sizing of the Rothco boots. I tried sending a message to the seller via Amazon's "Seller messaging assistant" but the "submit message" was dead, so what a waste of time. Could Rothco please get their sizing instructions sorted out and instruct their manufacturers to standardize sizing to the norms of the industry?

Right boot
Well constructed and comfortable, the right boot however does feel a little tight, with the lining pressing against my foot in a odd uncomfortable way. Just had to loosen the laces however and I was back on track.
